She used to say "It's too kiddie!" now she's changed that to cartoony.
ROFFLES at this comment on the youtube video.
"I completely agreed with Morgan Freeman. Super Mario Galaxy 2 was not having enough 3D graphics without being cartoony. It needs more depth than story book and more adult sections of the HD."
LMAO
Gamesradar has a Wii should be HD feature.

I bought it. How do I know these people? They must have been on before or after another show I used to watch.

Enslaved's graphical influences revealed Miyazaki movies, Tarzan cartoons and more inspired Uncharted challenger, says Ninja Theory
Um, as someone who owns every Studio Ghibli film on dvd.... I don't see it.
I don't see what all the fuss is over what Morgan Webb said about SMG2. She simply said it was "too cartoony for her", so what. I think it's an amazing game myself but I can certainly understand what she's saying and she has every right to say it given that the context of the discussion seems focused on providing personal opinion on the game.
Of course she has the right to say it, just as people have the right to respond to it.
You understand what she's saying when she says "It's not 3D enough?" Please translate that for us.
She said that !? - I didn't watch the whole thing. Geez
The 4 year old, mature, graphics comments - please. Oh you're too grown up for childish video games and you want the adult flavored childish video games. ok...
Apparently she likes platformers too, which I don't understand as most platformers have colourful, kid friendly animal characters and such, and have done so for like 20 plus years.
Why the hell should I have to translate anything? I haven't translated anything she said yet as I'm not making up things she's been saying I'm just stating what she is fully saying not taking bits and pieces and getting all butt-hurt over it. I don't know why she said that it was 3D enough.
So does this mean we'll see Goldeneye on XBLA?
Of course, it's me
She said it's too cartoony and the caption says it's too cartoony. Am I missing something here?
Because you said you understood what she was saying.
Well there you go - O' Defender of the hot female game journalist.
Why do I never see you defending male game journalists?
Just kidding Archie. You know me.
Probably. I think that that is the trade off between Rare/MS Activision/Nintendo
She said it's too cartoony FOR HER. So yeah you're missing something, like the rest of the sentence which totally changes one's perception of the comment.
Understanding why she may have grown out of something is NOT the same as TRANSLATING something.
Of course it's FOR HER. I double checked to make sure she wasn't referring to Obama, or Clinton before I watched anything
That's a given. If you want to add for her to the subtitle, by all means do so. The next time Cliff Blezinski or Hideo Kojima says something, be sure to add "for him" to the end of it too.
"It's soooo cartoony, sometimes I just feel like: I'm not 4 and I wanna little more from the graphics."
Firstly, she loves platformers and then can't enjoy the best platformer ever made, nearly the best game ever made (according to critics.)
Then she doesn't think the graphics are good enough when nearly everyone is saying it's probably the best visuals on the system.
Then she feels the graphics are too cartoony, she doesn't want to feel like a 4 year old, she wants a more adult presentation and yet can happily play Mario and Luigi on portables, which have an even more kiddie presentation and are even LESS 3D than Mario Galaxy 2.
Then she says they could have done "a more 3D look". The whole game is 3D.
What bugs me is that it seems you feel that her opinion shouldn't be examined in detail because she's entitled to it. Well yeah, of course, but then why get antsy when someone has an opinion to her opinion? Aren't they entitled to that?
If we all stuck to this don't-you-dare-criticise mantra then the press would never hold politicians to account for the things they say, no one would bat an eyelid when Mel Gibson goes all anti-semetic on our asses either.
It's just natural, it happens whenever someone is a public figure, a celebrity - the Dixie Chicks fiasco for example - a politican or a musician or movie star.
If someone says something which makes you think WTF? Then I say: WTF?
WTF?
I think sometimes people over estimate the strength of feeling on an issue. These kind of things are what the internet is made for. Someone may type all in CAPS for effect, but that doesn't mean they actually really give a **** about it. Some crazy person criticises game X for whatever reason? I point and laugh because that's what the internet is for.
When in reality, I'm shrugging here or thinking LOL
Peace Archie, I'm waving the white flag.
