I don't know why, but I suddenly felt the urge to play one of the best games of all time again tonight.
Such memories...
I've been playing Halo: CE on Legendary, and have been doing far better than I thought I would on that difficulty setting. Sure, the game kicks my ass here and there, but it's quite manageable. I don't yet know if I can beat the entire game on that setting, but I'm certainly going to try. I . . must . . . 100% . . . Halo! *shakes fist at sky*
I've also been playing Mario Kart: Double Dash. I beat that game years ago, but have never managed to get the Gold Trophy on the All Cup Race mode, only the lousy bronze trophy.
I remember trying a few levels of Legendary on CE.
Not up my alley, I guess. It is an outstanding job Bungie did with that AI, though. Both enemy and allied. AI shines on Legendary, if you manage to keep yourself alive long enough to notice, that is. 
A couple minutes ago I wrapped up FFXIII's 5th chapter. Such a beautiful game. I need, however, a full party to start taking full advantage of each character's strenghts and weaknesses. Spending so much time with 2-person parties leaves little room for experimentation, even though it kind of forces you to try out stuff you wouldn't normally.
Some of the tracks are annoyingly upbeat, though, considering the overall vibe of the plot.
The AI seemed to just stand around in a safe area and wait for you to attack them to me. Though that was on Halo 2.
Wait, what's CE?
Combat Evolved. It's the subtitle for the first Halo.
Glad it's only $39.99. I can afford it at least!

I didn't play the first one on Legendary much, but the enemy's main strategy on 2 seemed to be group up and be very defensive.

I think I'm pretty smart when it comes to figuring out games, but this one has me stumped! I have no idea how to play this thing or how to solve these puzzles!

Picked up Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops because I was so impressed with MGS Peace Walker's demo. As much as I really was blown away with Peace Walker, Portable Ops is really hard! The controls are just crazy and all over the place! It feels like a game where the developers had a hard time getting used to the PSP's control scheme! Also, Kojima didn't work on it, which is probably why it feels off.
But Kojima fixed the controls and made it work incredibly well with Peace Walker. Now I can't wait for that game!
Still playing Tekken 6 on the PSP. Still amazes me everytime I play it. I also picked up Gradius Collection. It's so hard but really love these classic SHUMPs.
Can't wait for Super SFIV! Only two days away!
