Geez what happened to the hardware. There must be some major supply constraints on the PS3, all signs would have pointed to a major month. Wii seems to have supplies back in full force, unstoppable it is. DS, I don't need to say anything. 360 remains steady as a rock.

GoW3 went beyond my expectations, wow a million seller for a PS3 exclusive in one month, finally. I thought one of the Pokemon would be higher than GoW3 but it was a bit lower than expected, but right in line for what almost all Pokemon games do. Remember it is just a remake and it still outsold every game this month including a major RPG in FFXIII, wow. Speaking of FFXIII, very nice. I knew it would sell well over a million, I did not expect the difference between PS3 and 360 versions to be so huge. And what do you know the Battlefield numbers are almost reverse to the FF ones, lol. 360 is the console of shooters. Great numbers for Battlefield, right in line with what I expected.

NSMBWii will not leave the top 10 in a long time. 450k is good enough to LEAD sales on a normal month, it did that on its 5th month. Boo to Wiifit coming back, damn thought we got rid of it. MLB was also expected, does the same every year. Surprised MW2 on 360 didn't make it.

Comparison to my prediictions

Hardware:

• 360 - 390k  - too high by 60K
  
• PS3 - 420K - OOPS off by 100k
  
• Wii - 410K - YIKES undershot this by 150k
  
• DS - 750K - too high by 50k
  

• Pokemon - 1.0 million - PERFECT!
  
• Pokemon - 900k - Too high
  
• GoW3 - 900k - Too low by 100l
  
• FFXIII PS3 - 800k - Nailed it!
  
• Battlefield 360 - 750k - Too low by almost 100k
  
• FFXIII 360 - 700k - Way too high, by 200k
  
• Battlefield PS3 - 650k - Again way too high, geesh my numbers were giving everyone crazy sales
  
• NSMB - 450k - PERFECT!
  
• MLB 10 The Show - 380k - Got it by 40k
  
• MW2 360 - 300k - Could be right but I did not expect Wii Fit to jump back in.

Excellent sales for FFXIII and BC2. Each had reverse sales number for the different platforms but both did quite well overall.

 BC2 is a baffler.  It's good to see a "new" FPS sell so well.
