PC to PS3/360 is not the same to PS3/360 to Wii. Come on, what kind of argument is that.
I wonder what were the numbers for Endless Ocean 2. Fucking heathens, I'll have to make it up by buying TWO copies of it whenever I see it.
Assholes.
Asshole.
...
I'm just giving shit all across the opinion spectrum. I was never serious about it. If you guys really wanna go down the rabbit hole, I'll just wait for you up here where it's sunny.
I'll take a guess and say like 30k.
According to VG Chartz, EO2 is currently at 0.19M or around 190,000.
Bullshit. In a good way, I mean. Too good of a figure to be true.
According to my ass it sold 30k. My ass is more accurate.
I'll vouch for the accuracy of Vader's ass. It fits like a glove.
It's close enough, depending on the game better or worse. Resolution (since it's most often sub-HD on consoles) coupled with AA, AF (since it's most often nonexistent on consoles) and frame rate (since it's most often 30 fps or lower, with only rare titles being 60 on consoles) alone would be enough of a difference to call it "huge", but they usually go beyond that adding higher resolution textures, better and more shader, particle and other effects and higher complexity geometry, and in many cases like Valve's games extend beyond visual features and go into actual gameplay and content, not to mention far better online performance. All that basically sums up to having similar superiority in all the areas the Wii is bashed for having inferiority over the other systems. It's merely your personal biases that make you believe your favorite system sets the bar, the PC goes slightly above that bar, and the Wii much lower, when reality is much different to that misconception. What you settle for isn't the bar, what you don't experience enough to get used to that quality before going back to your console isn't only marginally better.
Personally I'm primarily a PC gamer and find the PS360, Wii and even the portables (I own a PSP as well actually) just fine when it comes to their good titles, hell I often play PC games that don't use a fraction of my rig's abilities, just like you can (I hope?) enjoy PS360 games that don't use their full abilities either. I don't go around bashing the PS360 except to make this point to people who unfairly bash the Wii based on that, as if it can't offer great gaming

Somehow, I don't think it's a far-fetched figure. I don't really picture the EO games as being too front-loaded. Do we have any figures on the first months of the previous one? I think those games sell at a slow rate, but consistently thanks to word of mouth and favorable e-reputation.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it sell as much as possible, but I'd be pretty shocked (and glad) if it broke 50K.
They're advertising the shit out of it. I see commercials for it all the damn time during the shows the kids watch on Nickelodeon, as well as when I watch the Food and Travel channels. I think they're running spots for it on AMerican Idol too. Ubisoft isn't holding back promoting it. Just hope they do the same for Red Steel 2.
xD

VG Chartz may not be the most accurate site in their numbers, but I seriously doubt they are off by that much.
I certainly hope you're right, wise sage. We'll find out soon enough, when the top 20 or so gets posted somewhere.
