And Mass Effect 2 price dropped? That was fast. I'll wait a bit longer for another price drop than I'll give it a try. I have no money right now.
Sorry man. I feel your pain. But it'll be worth the wait I'm sure.

Not quite. Read my post about Dave Halverson a couple of pages back.
Off topic, but here's a pic I took in my back yard a few minutes ago:
Anyway isn't that just a one week sale and only at Amazon?
Wow that's pretty cool. The most exotic animal I get in my backyard is the occasional hawk or a opossom.
Gamefan was my all-time favourite back in the day. I'll pick up their first new issue just for nostalgia's sake.
OMG my visions of Australia are true.
Cant find your post but I read the neogaf stuff. OMG the man is insane. I read his Sonic 06 review where he gave it a 9.5 and called it the greatest Sonic game of all time and one of the best games ever. It was like reading a review from the twilight zone.
Yeah, and he also left Play Magazine in bankruptcy with a lot of reviewers/ writers unpaid.
Why is the show so short, we need more Pachter! Anyway his thoughts on Ipad are a bit obvious I would say. I don't know how playing Tetris on a bigger screen matters much.
I love how he states he will answer some questions and then talk about other things. One question answered and it's the end of the show. He can't even predict the content of his own show correctly.
He's migrating into the general computer and tech space. The iPad would be a damned miracle if it went anywhere. Tablets have existed for a decade; people don't own them because people, outside of specialty interests, don't want to control their personal computer, with a touchscreen. It is literally the iPod Touch XL, I honestly haven't heard a distinguishing feature. It only runs iPhone apps. And I'd prefer to actually carry around a netbook because a clamshell inherently protects the screen. It's not going to affect the gaming market, in any way, ever.
---
Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileIt has Apple behind it so it has a chance of doing very well. And down the road it will run its own apps. But yeah I don't think it will ever take off and it does it will never affect the gaming market as much as the already established Iphone. The Iphone will be the one we judge on how this new gaming market affects consoles not the ipad.
Horrible man, but damn was Gamefan pretty too look at. If it still looks like that I am in.
Yeah. I loved the magazine also. Mostly for the high quality paper, pictures and art-style...
--BUT--
I've met Dave Halverson before... he's as sleazy as he looks.
The dude used to do two reviews for the same game under different aliases. My whole outlook of Gamefan is destroyed now. It still had the best style of any magazine in the day.
Same here. Then I capture and hump them to death.
