Best Buy is selling A Boy and His Blob for $20 also. And MadWorld for $9.99! Now that's definitely a "mad" deal!

Damn, I may have to head to my local Best Buy, and get Blob then. It would be much, much faster than waiting for Amazon ship it.

Thanks for letting us know! Happy

No probs! Now we're even since you let me know about Nyx Quest! Grinning

I got it! Grinning

Best Buy must have had 12 copies sitting on the shelf. No wonder it was marked down by 50%.

Great find! I was fortunate to pick it up at $30 at Frys, but $20 is a steal!

It's one of my favorite Wii games!

It's a crying shame that this game didn't sell at all.

Intel Wants Wii Successor to Use Larrabee

Yeah, I'm sure they do. That'd be a LOT of money they'd make!

I don't care really, but I hope whatever hardware choice they make won't harm GC/Wii backward compatibility.

A Boy and His Blob

I just played about an hour of A Boy and His Blob. It's a cool game. The graphics and music are great, but the controls could be better. The game doesn't use the IR pointer. It would be sooo much easier to select and throw the jellybeans if I could just point at the screen. Instead, it uses the archaic analogue stick/ Z-button/b-button combo, which is slow and a bit tedious. It does work, though. I've gotten used to it fairly quickly, but I wonder why the devs chose not to use the Wii Remote to its fullest? Anyhoo, the game is very charming so far, and I'm certain I'll get my money's worth of fun out of it. Happy

Blob is a game I was very conflicted with. Parts of me loved it. It was like playing a Miyazaki movie.  There were great puzzles and you could just couldn't help but get a warm happy feeling when you played it.  But. . . between the controls and the lack of a real story it became really hard to play after a while.  I got a couple hours into it but could never shake the feeling that I was just playing a demo for something bigger.

Ummm "It feels really safe too so far. Not much imagination so far."

I practically said the same thing. Are you crazy?

How about you saying the game is easily a nine and he calling it "meh". Sorry just because he said one thing that was similar to what you said, does not put him on your side. And his opinion about the theme (grass world, desert world, ect) was exactly the same thing I said, but you don't hear me saying that he is on my side, do you? You are just cherry picking quotes here.

Plus he says SMW > SMB3. Take that bitch Nyaa

I'd kick my own balls than kick a ball all day in soccer practice. Hand egg for the win. Sadly the Dolphins pissed away their playoff chances the last two weeks.

It's a very welcome overhaul of the first game without altering the essence of its wonderful platforming mechanics. In a sense, the revamp of the mission structure makes it feel more like GTA: Florence, but that's not a bad thing in my book. Without the obligatory information gathering missions, the flow and pace at which the story unfolds is much more dynamic, and more enjoyable. The city is wonderfully detailed, and the music is beautiful.

Another useful new feature is that the game keeps a record of important places, people and documents you encounter or find throughout the game, so you can always go back and check out a specific building, letter or biography in case you forgot something.

I wish Fallout 3 did that in a much more organised and easily accessible fashion.

You would really enjoy my triangle choke, until you lose conciousness and wake up with no pants and a bottle of Tabasco sauce jammed in a place where the sun never shines. You would realize then that me, Vader and Mama where playing the world famous game "hide the spice bottle". The realization that your body was brutally ravished while you laid there helplessly unconscious will make your body shiver in disgust. The fact that you were "not there" while your greatest wish was being fulfilled would be too much to bear.
