"Lol GodMode I can still post!" - Steel - you are classic.
That Dude in there is the reason I gave up on it. Too much agro.
Godmode is the greatest mod.
Oh shit! I just read what I wrote. I wasn't talking about GME, that was two different statements. I heart GME. I was talking about one of the agro posters in the RoF.
I read the last few pages I know what you meant and who you were talking about.
Godmode made a final lock post, yet negated to lock it. Then Steel made that post.
Classic.
That's what pops in my head now that I've started playing Test Drive: Le Mans on the Dreamcast recently for the first time.
http://www.gamerankings.com/dreamcast/256227-test-drive-le-mans/index.html
Really, this game is awesome. Outside of graphics, it easily stands up with the best racing games of the modern era. I got this game brand new off of Ebay for $10 and am having a blast with it. Why spend $60 on Forza 3 when this game is honestly superior IMO in fun factor? This is one of those times where I pick up an old game and say to myself "why didn't I buy this when it first came out?" because if I did my jaw would have been on the ground 9 years ago. Supposedly it was only $30 as a new release at the time too.
Its funny because most of the more modern racers I play bore the hell out of me, yet this game was instantly a good time. It has that old Gran Turismo fun factor and vibe to it, moreso than any other racer I think I've played. The AI is superior to the Turismo games though; you really feel challenged to fight for 1st place, and normally in any given race you'll be middle of the pack until the end.Even graphically it still looks decent, close to GT 3 in quality. Jaw Dropping for a game in 2000. A $30 game in 2000.
So cool that there's still a few gems from the Cast days that I haven't played until now. Anybody who has one and never played this, pick it up!
So I guess I'll be getting the PC version of Dragon Age, as it seems to be a good step above the consoles.
I can't believe Bioware of all developers would make Dragon Age superior on the PS3 over the 360 though; a developer who normally only works on Xbox and knows the hardware and this ends up one of the few times the PS3 gets a better game? Weird.
Giant jellyfish have capsized a 10-tonne fishing boat after its crew tried to haul in a net full of the stinging creatures off the eastern coast of Japan.
Dozens of Nomura's jellyfish sunk the Diasan Shinsho-maru boat and sent its three-man crew into the sea, The Mainichi Daily News reported.
The organisms can weigh up to 440lbs and grow up to 6ft in diameter.
The three men forced into the sea, near Chosi, were rescued by another trawler.
Waters around Japan have been inundated with the jellyfish this year.
Experts believe weather and water conditions in the breeding grounds off the coast of China have been ideal for the species in recent months.
"The arrival is inevitable," Hiroshima University Professor Shinichi Ue told the Yomiuri newspaper.
"A huge jellyfish typhoon will hit the country."
Nomura's jellyfish have been known to wreak havoc in Japanese waters.
They destroy fishing nets, poison fish in the nets and render them unfit for sale, sting humans and even disable nuclear power stations by blocking pumps used to cool the reactors.
In 2007, there were 15,500 reports of damage caused to fishing equipment by jellyfish in the region, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Many fishermen have tried to keep jellyfish out of their nets by using sharp wires.
I feel the same about racers and fighting games. My favourite racers were MSR on Dreamcast and this N64 game whose name escapes me, it was really good though, great handling and decent visuals. Hell I had as much fun with that N64 podracer game as F Zero.
Is this more hype for Endless Ocean 2?
I don't know, for me racing games have evolved nicely over the years. Forza 3 is a fantastic game. The suggested driving line was an excellent addition and the rewind feature is great as well. Truly a game anyone can enjoy. I think the AI is quite well done and the physics are superb. I find graphics very important myself so I wouldn't ever really want to play many of these types of games from the past.
Just picked up Dragon Age and really itching to play it. Hopefully some of the issues for the 360 get patched but either way it still got great reviews so I'm definitely pleased.
How do I get an image to load into my sig again? What am I doing wrong? lol
should look like this:
Can't believe I forgot this. It's about two weeks old at this point, but I was interviewed on the DS Jim podcast, where we talk about a variety of different things, yet avoid the DS for some reason.
You can check it out here.
You insert the pic the same way you do for posts, by clicking that picture icon in the editor, and putting in the link.
Just copy the link portion ( http://card.mygamercard.net/community/tbs/OOO+Trendkiller.png ) from that code you posted, and then put that link into the pic icon in the editor.
I forgot about your sig, Edge. Lol.
Wait, the PS3 version is better than the 360 one? Goddamn...though I've heard both are pretty rough compared to the PC version, which is what you should be getting anyway.
Yeah, you mentioned it on the podcast but never gave us a link (and I couldn't understand the title when you mentioned it).

He got our site wrong at first, then it got corrected later. Then mentioned again...and again Kinda felt awkward eventually
On the show, the best part:
Jim: "Ubisoft still made $1.3 billion"
Darthhomer: "Oh sweet Jesus"
And on the GTA 65,000 bags of weed, I bet you the number was 65,535. That's the upper limit on a 16-bit unsigned integer.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileWhat.
The.
Hell.
It offers Balance Board support too!!
But if they gave them Persian accents then it wouldn't be accuare to the PoP games at all.
