VG: What kind of things would you have done differently (in Sonic Unleashed)? Will we see the Werehog again?
TK:For the improvements, I can’t think of anything right now off the top of my head. If I think of any ideas then Sonic Unleashed 2 will be the time for that, so I don’t really have an answer for that. But you will see the Werehog again. I like Secret Rings very much, but when it came to making this title [Sonic and the Black Knight] we chose to do something different. All the good things about Secret Rings belong to that specific game. So in the same way, unless we’re going to make Sonic Unleashed 2 you might not see him again. But if we are going to make it, you might see him again. It’s a possibility.
Interesting, I can't use my wii-motes during the day for some reason, even with the curtains closed. Stupid motion sensor.
Have you tried recalibrating it? I had a problem with my Wiimote once, and found out it was trying to read a desk lamp I had on.
Yeah, there were more signals than the wii-mote so it's clearly picking up something. What it is I can't work out as I had no problems during night time with all the same electronic devices on, so who knows.
"Marvelous, the Japanese publisher of No More Heroes, might be eyeing a move onto what it refers to as the 'hardcore platforms'."
Are you shitting me? What does that even mean? I love Marvelous, but this is kind of an off-te-wall thing to say. Hoping something was lost in translation.

Are you talking about the IR or the motions sensing? If you motion sensing is off then it wont have anything to do with the IR. Do you have any strong light sources near the TV? I noticed at Christmas the lights threw them off. Is your bar positioned correctly? Yesterday my bar was a couple if inches back and I just brought it forward and it was fine. You know that reflections of light on the sensor bar OR the end of the wii remote affect it right? Checked your batteries? Resynched your remotes?

IMHO Marvelous dont have the capital or skillset to start working on these production value, heavy investment machines. That's why I was saying that they were almost forced to work on original, lower cost niche games. They have a desire to work on these big platforms but its almost like they were left behind when PS3 and 360 went all next gen on their asses. If it weren't for Wii I would expect them to make PSP and DS their bread and butter.

That's what I'm guessing it is as the sunlight shines in through the window and onto the wii-remote (I can see it reflecting off the black bit). Kinda hard to block out the light during the day, as the sun shines directly through the window, so even with the curtans closed there's lighting reflecting off the end of it.

I notice with me it's always worst in the mornings with stong sunlight, but just drawing the curtain works for me.
Kramer commented: "Critics were unkind to the first Street Fighter movie as well, but that film has been ridiculously profitable for Capcom over the last decade. The original SF movie still generates millions of dollars in royalties for Capcom every year, thanks to cable, foreign distribution, home video, DVD and Blu-ray sales. And Capcom would be receiving even more money if that had been a co-production deal!"

Possibly as another character in a game compilation. Still sucks either way.
"Get your friends together and grab your Wii Wheel (TM) accessories for action-packed raucous racing. ExciteBots: Trick Racing takes the big-air thrills and simple controls of Excite Truck (TM) and ramps up the fun with a non-stop barrage of funky challenges and mini-games performed at blinding speed. You won't believe your eyes when you find yourself shooting goals, throwing pies and even playing poker in the middle of racing robotic animals and insects around off-road tracks."
During a Q&A segment at the Resident Evil 5 Wondercon panel, Capcom was asked by an enthusiastic fan about a possible Resident Evil 2 remake. Mike Webster of Capcom decided to respond to the answer. He said, “Stay tuned, we absolutely understand that these are classic games,” and added, “Some announcements, that you will be very interested in [are on the way].”
Will this RE2 in the RE4 style surface as was the original idea for Umbrella Chronicles? Is he just talking about the Wii ports of REmake, RE0 etc?

More Excitebots details have emerged, including a confirmation of Wi-Fi, and... mid-race pie-throwing distractions. Boxart after the jump...
A little digging around following Nintendo's surprising yet welcome announcement of Excitebots: Trick Racing has yielded some new details relating to the follow-up to 2007's Excite Truck, which will indeed be developed by Monster Games again.
With the boxart materialising out of retail listings, the first thing most people will notice is the little blue Wi-Fi logo in the top-left corner of the cover. Answering the prayers of fans everywhere, Excitebots will feature 6-player online races, sure to provide brilliantly madcap entertainment despite not quite matching up to Mario Kart Wii's 12-player races.
Also elaborating on Nintendo's promise of minigames, the product description for Excitebots: Trick Racing reveals that we'll be lobbing pies, playing poker and shooting goals during races. Apparently, we won't believe our own eyes.
You haven't lived until you've seen a robotic turtle with wheels whizzing over the Moai heads of Easter Island. Wait, what?
Excitebots: Trick Racing is slated for an April 20th release in North America, with a European release yet to be announced.

"I think I can only get away with saying this now, but I really thought that the using the Xbox was only way to break into overseas markets, and I took that hypothesis all the way," said the acclaimed developer.
Capcom supported the Xbox 360 with two exclusive titles – Dead Rising and Lost Planet – both of which were early hits for the publisher on Microsoft's console.
"I think the success of these two titles was a major achievement for our company," added Inafune.
"That the Xbox 360 was such a big hit, and the products that we made for the overseas market were so well received was extraordinary."
Logic centre imploding. Using the Xbox is the only way to break overseas markets, when the Playstation brand was not only more popular in the West already but also worldwide?
360 is a big hit that is being outsold X2 by the Wii, which is more popular in western markets (and) all over the world.
The success of Dead Rising and Lost Planet was a major achievement. Then what was RE UC and RE4 which sold as much as those games and cost a lot less to make too? Chopped liver? Where is the support Capcom?
Excite Truck is third on my favorite Wii game list. I absolutely loved the game, and have spent at least 100 hours playing and replaying it. That being said, I have my doubts about Excitebots.
I really hope I'm wrong, and Excitebots turns out to be a great game. But from the boxart and description, it sounds like they turned Excite Truck into a weird Mario Kart clone. That may not be a bad thing considering I love Mario Kart (which is second on my list), but I'm afraid they've turned it into a "just of kids" mini-game compilation; and that would be very dissappointing.
Excitebots is looking more and more like Nintendo's answer to Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, If this game doesn't have it's own design your Bot mode it will have been a completely wasted effort, but after looking at the box I can't see how it wouldn't. It's begging for it.

Exite Bike had minigames like soccer and stuff. But it was one of the most hardcore games ever.
I'm pretty sure that Kaz was mistranslated. What he really meant to say was, "At Sony we love puppies and kitties and you should buy more PS3's."
And I'm not too concerned about the Penthouse'se review. I'll wait for the Better Homes & Gardens review.
