The PS3:
Wow check out this song! Best.song.ever.
Jizz in My Pants
Give the man a hand. The voice actor for Shredder is hilarious and I love his design. He's fun.
How would you rate it and how do you explain all the bad reviews going around?
Patcher.... Wii deprives families.
I got to say looking at the NPD link I saw PS3 numbers and thought, cool, it's doing well. I saw 360 numbers next and thought wow, those are Wii numbers. Then I saw Wii numbers and my eyes nearly popped. Even when 360 is doing 800'000 it virtually selling (360 + PS3) X 2 = mind blown
My biggest problems with the demo were that in control terms it felt like you hit something and then watched the prince run through an animation. Where if Nintendo were doing it, they would cut or make the animation shorter to make the controls faster and more precise.
Bandwidth exceeded, I see no pic![Sad](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-frown.gif)
Okay, my Animal Crossing code is in the thread. I will put my system code there too.
I NEED PHANTOM LEOS TOO!
Death to Leo!
Maybe this will convince some people to get SOUL BUBBLES
"Despite the game’s quality, critical acclaim and heritage (especially with consultation from Alone in the Dark and Little Big Adventure creator, Frédérick Raynal), the game has made a tiny dent on 2008 with few hardcore DS players taking notice and few sales (the game didn’t hit charts in the UK). "
ANIMAL CROSSING REVIEW
"Benzodiazepines: The Videogame would have been a better name, as Animal Crossing: City Folk is just about as relaxing and addictive as videogames get. I don't just mean "Wow, I can't believe I played that game all night!" addictive, I mean "What happened to my life? Who am I? Oh god...I need help" addictive, the kind where hundreds of hours a year could easily be lost to this one game. Really, I had to go at this review alone because all the other Dtoid staff I asked to take a hit were too scared they'd become Animal Crossing junkies (again). The stuff is just that potent. "
I know I said that you should play this game for 40 minutes every day but like RV I've been playing for a couple of hours at least.
OMG The Destructoid review nails it:
"This sedating appeal can't be underestimated in accounting for the series' ongoing success, especially in Japan. In an overcrowded country world-renowned for its focus on strict adherence to obligations (jobs, school, tradition, etc.), Animal Crossing provides a supremely serene, stress-free world where there is no right or wrong, just the Zen art of laziness. The first and only responsibility you have in the game is to get your boss to fire you. That's when you raise your fist in the air and say something like, "Yeah boy! Work is for chumps! Time to get stupid!" It's a divinely poetic moment for anyone who has ever dreamed of living a life centered around gainful unemployment; a life without homework, time-clocks, or expectations of any kind. In that way, Animal Crossing is adult life as most adults wish it could be; a life where all tasks are easily performed and unpleasantness just doesn't exist."
OMFG!!!!!!!!!
MOTHER******!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not only can you burst in on Resetti's secret hideout you can do this too. Pay off your mortgage and then upgrade the town. But shiiiiiiiit, Midna Masks?!
"From there, you can pay the town 200,000 bells (bells = in-game currency) to build a new bridge, 500,000 bells to build a wishing well, or 1,000,000 bells to build a lighthouse or a windmill. There are also wearable helmets to make you look like Nintendo icons, such as Samus, Link, Midna, Toad, and even Majora's Mask. "
"All the holidays (and the special villagers that come with them) from the GameCube Animal Crossing are back. There are also two holidays that make their debut in City Folk, Easter and Mardi Gras, as well as a host of country-specific holidays for the Korean, Japanese, and European versions of the game. There are over 200 villagers, 50 of them being brand new (including a British bird named Sterling, wot wot) who come equipped with thousands of lines of new dialog."
Maybe i can make and send you a higgins mii or make a version of your pimp?
Okay, who keeps writing Michael Pachter's name as "Patcher" in the news?
Is this intentional?
Hmmm, I made one, but the Mii moustache is standard and there are no reflective sunglasses. I just realised that your guy has no mouth.
It's me and it's not intentional. Oooops.
Here you go Steel.
This was an attempt to get everyone on the same page but people were lax in getting me the info I needed. I could update it with AC codes and people still need to get me their system codes and online times etc.
Yeah, people! Put up your NiGHTS Journey of Dreams codes, so that we can play online!![Happy](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-smile.gif)
Hmm, why is Metroid Prime 3 listed, GG? It doesn't have online. Neither does Elebits.
It works with tokens online so you can send people tokens to unlock art and music etc. The game works from the wii system codes and auto detects who else has the game, but the tokens only work within regions, america, europe, japan etc. I sent a bunch of stuff to an american and vice versa and they were lost. Elebits can send levels online to other elebits owners, it automatically detects the wii system code so you never need to send a code, as Boom Blox does, you just need to know who else has the game.
Endless Ocean online is regional only, so unless another european gets it I am alone. Bugs gave his to a scuba friend.
Nobody likes NIGHTS. There are a ton of people here with Smash and yet we can never arrange a match and get codes.
Wow, I never knew about the tokens/levels thing. That sounds pretty cool!
Region-locked online sucks.![Sad](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-frown.gif)
Vader likes NiGHTS! I think?
Oh, and Smash sucks.
Doesn't it have problems when playing online like lag or something? I remember people on other sites bitching about that when it came out.
We need to set up a Mario Kart online match one of these days, so I can smoke you with my Golden Wii Wheel!
