Oh, I know you dig sci fi stuff, it's just that given the unimaginative structure of most of the sidequests, they can feel a bit like a chore to do. Doing them is rewarding, but only if you are really interested in the intricate fictional background of the game and its setting. Focusing on the main quest makes the whole experience a lot more agile and fulfilling, even if the complex background imagined by the dev team can be a bit overlooked this way.
This is an approach you should try with Ass Creed as well. It rewards you with the most standout aspects of the game, with minimal exposure to the repetitive game design features.

I played Fable II and bits of The Sims 2 here and there. Fable got me hooked, though. There isn't anything about this game that I don't love, it even stalled my Vesperia playthrough.
Sweet. There are so many great games already out and they just keep coming. I would be shitting bricks if I had a PS3 as well.
I am playing Galaxy still, just got 60 stars and finished the game, again. Did the crazy jump, but this time perfectly a few times. And did some other crazy shortcuts.

Me? I tried out the Alone in the Dark Inferno demo for the PS3. Actually not too bad. Not the greatest thing I've ever played, but certainly far from the worst. I can't honestly say that the improvements make the game better, as I've not had the opportunity to play the original version. Though that driving sequence that 9/10th's of the internet was bitching about is in the demo...and surprisingly easy. I beat it on my second try. The first was because I messed up.
I also played Mario Kart Wii. This now means that I've played every Mario Kart game to date...and it's aiight. I didn't get to try it with anything but a Wiimote/Nun-chaku (I had the opportunity to try out the wheel, but after seeing how my brother and cousins were screwing up, I passed). Not too bad. Was interesting to play with the Wiimote/Nunchaku (first time), felt a little disjointed, but I guess you get more used to that when you play with those two more.
Though it was rad playing through the DS courses. Which I loved. Is Waluigi Pinball in the game?
I actually prefer using the Wii Wheel. I beat a bunch of GG's best times with it, and he was using the Wii Remote/Nunchuck controls too.

Great so far, but I only realised on the third Beauty that you get the beauty mask if you tranq them when you've already killed them. T_T
Possibly. However Super Mario Galaxy is the best in the series IMO.

Thats good to know, because almost everyone I know said it was repetitive. I just hope the combat doesn't annoy me like in POP.
Game gets better as you play. The online bits are especially good if you install the MK Channel. Raven only beat a few of my times because the game gives a handicap to wii wheel users and kart users get double boosts against bikes. So there

That's total BS! There's no handicap on Wii Wheel users, and bikes have quicker acceleration than karts, so karts get two speed boost levels instead of the one bikes get to help balance the gameplay. Verbal trickery will get you nowhere, GG.
That's how I got it too.
It's a fact! Karts get a double speed boost on every corner whilst bikes get one! And bikes dont necessarily have faster acceleration than karts, it depends on what bike you use. For instance I use the Bowser bike and it has the worst acceleration in the damn game
