Aww shit! People are getting sucked into E3 hype already.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
So Fable 2 is scoring lower than Fable?
I just watched the Fable II IGN Video Review. It kinda sucks that the main quest is only 8 hours long. I sure hope the side stuff is really fun then. I replayed the heck out of Fable 1 which was also short, so I'll most likely enjoy this one just as much.
Just finished Dead Space. Awesome, simply and purely fucking awesome. If you have a PS3 or 360 get this game ... NOW! A game that definately is no lower then a 9.
I'm a little disappointed with some things I've heard about Fable 2, mostly how obscenely easy it is to get money. However there will probably be alot of things that I'll be doing in the game what with playing with the dog, messing around in towns and villages, and interacting with all the people I'm sure I'll get quite abit of play time with it so I'm still very eager to pick up a copy in about a week's time.
I really enjoyed this year's E3. I thought Microsoft had an awesome showing and Sony's was pretty good. Now if Nintendo turns up a good showing then next year's E3 is going to rock.
I agree with your signature. Accent Core for the Wii was the Game of the Year.

I want this Wii!
I'd want it even more if it didn't have the Animal Crossing stuff on it.
True. I just want that woodgrain look.
That's exactly my reasoning there Hamster.
So yeah, I just got some free time to help out with organizing the first ever Presscast. Shall we do something for opening music? Or should we just go with some classic gaming tune? Something generic?
So I guess my one redeeming feature is that I'm British? That's it? Damn you all. Podcast sucks!
And yet no urge to watch the original Departed? i.e Infernal Affairs?
It is about time that AA changed, the first 3 were all gba ports anway. It is going to be weird though returning to the classic graphic adventure style with a mini edgeworth walking about the screen. I wonder if he will face Phoenix and win?
Seriously, if Zelda uses Wii Motion Plus and has visuals as good as say Monster Hunter 3, I think people will be wowed.
Defenders of the Earth theme tune should be the opening tune. Otherwise, podcast sucks. So sayeth 'podcast sucks' guy.

In fact that should be the name of the site. We could all be Defenders. I would be Mandrake. The rest of you? K'shin.
So Monolith are doing an RPG. Wonder if it's this rumoured project with the FFXII nervous breakdown guy?
Redeeming?! Who said anything about redeeming?!
Shut up you^
Holy shit GG, my mind was blown.
Find an MP3 of that - and we've got a frontrunner....
Martin Filipp, Developer & PR Manager at Deep Silver, shared his thoughts and experience about Cursed Mountain, the exclusive survival game for the Wii, with Revogamers.
Martin Filipp: We have a long history in game development. We’re here for eighteen years now. We’ve been former Rockstar Studio. I’m part of the organization side of the company. We don’t develop everything in Vienna. We’ve got a couple of development parts in Vienna, and we control everything from there. We’ve got 140 people working in the game and they’re located, actually, over the world. My job is to talk to all of the parts, keep the contact and make sure that everything is handed over to the production team.
RG: Recently you released a PR talking about the game’s engine and the technical capabilities of the Wii, to take advantage of it... Can you be more specific? You said you’re using HDR, you’re using particle effects… How is it, what are you doing with the hardware?
Martin: Well, it’s important for us to deliver something that has very high quality and hasn’t been shown off on the Wii so far. So we’ve got a particle system, we will be able to show really cool snowstorms for example, we’re offering a realistic fog and other technical possibilities. The player will get something new and we will be able to offer something new on the Wii.
RG: I don’t know if this is too technical, but our readers want to know about it. For shader effects, there’s that unit in the Wii called the TEV, which seems that nobody is using it this generation, and just a little group of studios used it on GameCube. How difficult is to program your own effects instead of using “registered trademark” shaders on the other consoles?
Martin: Actually, that’s part of the engine that we’ve licensed, we’ve been developing, and we’ve been working with. This engine is already operating all this shaders at is own, so we don’t use the stuff that is offered on the Wii on board to its 100%, to the maximum. But actually, that is a bit too technical for me. The thing is, the engine should be improved, it belongs to the company we’re working with, and they sent the Press Release. It’s very easy, actually, to get this power from the Wii and show it off.
RG: What about the lasting appeal? What is your goal? How many hours are we going to play Cursed Mountain?
Martin: That’s difficult to say at this stage, but I think it will be like ten to fifteen hours gameplay.
RG: Just for one player?
Martin: Yes.

Fuel for the Islam debate. A UK TV show, a UK American Idol (sort of) is on terrorism alert and has stepped up security
http://uk.tv.yahoo.com/blog/article/32109/
Security is to be stepped up for this weekend's live X Factor show after a preacher branded the show 'anti-Muslim'.
The cleric made the claims because of the show's new charity single supporting British troops, reports The Sun.
The remaining finalists will perform a version of Mariah Carey's Hero on Saturday night and proceeds from the single, which is released next Monday, will go to the Help For Heroes campaign.
Preacher Omar Bakri hit out at Muslims who buy or sell the single and those who wear wristbands to support the charity. In a message on a website he said:
"Some Muslims in Birmingham are wearing the armbands in support of British troops in Afghanistan. This is a form of muadaat (hatred) of the kuffar (non-believers) against the Muslims... and it has dangerous implications."
He added: "Even watching the show - those people are committing a form, a type, of muadaat (hatred). And that action is a form of kufr (non-belief)."
An X Factor insider told The Sun that the security risk is being taken very seriously:
"We called in officers from Scotland Yard because of genuine safety fears. We are in the process of discussing extra security measures for Saturday night's live show."
EDIT:
Whoa, Thundercats was made by Studio Ghibli No wonder the animation is so good.
ThunderCats is an American animated television series that was developed and produced by Rankin/Bass Productions, debuting in 1985, based on the characters created by Tobin "Ted" Wolf. The animation was provided by Pacific Animation Corporation, the working name for a collective of Japanese studios prominently including Topcraft, a group who would later go on to form Studio Ghibli.
