Oh that's the game you were talking about. I want this game but minus the dungeons. I know that sounds weird but I love the atmosphere playing as this chicken and wandering about FF style towns. Dungeon battling really isn't my thing though. I'm going back to read your blog now.

The funny thing is, I'm one of the people that pushed hardest for Okami on the Wii and Neopets and Spyborgs (the latter two are going to surprise people, so I'm quietly pleased expectations are tempered at the moment). I do strongly believe that our best Wii efforts will be built from the ground up for Wii... like Spyborgs and some other things I can't talk about.
Honestly, "the where's my top tier effort from XYZ dev on Wii" thing is getting sort of old and played out. Basically, from our side, anything we do there is going to be met with derision unless it's RE6 (to be clear, I'm not making any such pronoucement for folks who are reading this out of context). I'm getting to the point where I don't think we can "win" with some of these consumers, in spite of the fact that we've already delivered some of the best experiences on the platform (and I'd argue the best experiences from any third party) and we're putting big resources/top teams behind our other Wii titles.
I personally believe the Wii is about new experiences... so delivering "new" franchises like Zack & Wiki and Spyborgs is a big part of the strategy.
On Flock:
The game is exceedingly clever and beautiful. Fanboy vitriol notwithstanding, it will find an audience on a variety of platforms.

I think that Sven, as much as I like him is tooting his own horn. He likes to think that capcom are delivering the best wii 3rd party efforts and that is probably true to an extent, but it's in a really shallow pool. He can't really count Okami - a port which took 8 people a few months to do as major support, or a port of a years old RE game.
Other than that there is the admitedly great Zack and Wiki. RE:UC is just an okay game, nothing great at all. On the other side you have them making SFIV, RE5, Bionic Commando and Dark Void for every platform apart from wii, don't forget about dead rising and lost planet and Devil may cry. And then they go and announce a fucking puzzle game called Neopets and a extremely shoddy looking Spyborgs game from a start up on wii and expect cheers?
I appreciate that Monster Hunter 3 looks like it's being made by a big team and major resources but they haven't even shown that shit yet. Apart from that where are these "top" teams on Wii games apart from Monster Hunter 3 which in all honesty is probably being made by the MH PSP team?
Capcom can "win" by making big budget, traditional games from top teams on Wii that share parity with their counterparts on more powerful machines rather than spin offs, ports or shoddly looking crap.
Ha! Steel cannot harm me. Steel's balls are nothing compared to the power of a Slayer! Buffy will kick those so-called "massive" balls into an hellish demon dimension filled with industrial strength nutcrackers!

Well, me and a friend wiped my PS3 hard drive out today. That's the only way to get it working again. So I need to start Persona 3 over....fuuuck.

So here I am again, with a working PS3. Won't have to send it in to Sony after all. Funny thing is, if I wasn't under warranty they were going to try and charge me for just doing what I did myself. Unreal.

I think the Wii Castlevania game is looking really good. I just hope the fighting gameplay mechanics turn out as good and they put in some cool endings for all the characters.
Oh yeah and that Gears of Wario pic is hilarious as well.
