So what did everyone play this weekend?

I am amazed at how much time I have devoted to The World Ends With You. I have been playing this game since April 23rd! Still thoroughly addicted, still haven't gotten a fraction of the pins, no sign of getting tired or bored of it yet! I hardly finish games these days, as I lose interest in most of them within the first WEEK of owning them, yet, here we are, 2 months later...!

I finally got everything else out of the way on the PS3 to devote some quality time to MGS. I am only in Act 2, but I see the greatness everyone has been speaking of. THIS is the "10" game GTAIV could only CLAIM to be!

Grabbed my DS and hit the streets of NYC today for a little party that was going on in the streets... Heh...! Chilled in Washington Square Park under a tree and in the local StarBucks and played a bit of Final Fantasy Tactics A2. There's another game by SquEnix, besides TWEWY, I am sure to get waaay more than 39.99's worth from! I am more than fine with the price tag seeing the value and lasting power of these two games. No one else can come close (except for Atlus with Etrian and Nintendo themselves with Pokemon) to giving you this much play time from a DS game! I never, ever dreamed portables would give me so much enjoyment!
I played College Algebra. I don't recommend it, though. It's pretty boring.
That "View Older GG Weekly" link takes me to some weird page filled with pop-ups or something; then it crashed my browser. I don't recommend following that link either.

Remarkably, I actually did play something this weekend. Some Brawl (which we've heard enough about) and some Tetris DS. I maxed out the line count in endless play (999 lines).

Played Brawl! The game got out this Friday! Subspace is not nearly as bad as the forum idiots claimed it too be. I would say it quite good actually. I played since friday and I have yet to finish Subspace. Think about it four days for a story mode in a fighting game, normal fighting game have a story mode of half an hour.
I guess most people compare the single player of Brawl with Galaxy or something. Yeah d'oh, there is no way a fighting game with all the different modes will have a single player as awesome as a game made specifically for single player.
Other observations of Brawl. Pitt is handy in single player, because he can fly, making finding secrets and avoiding falling to your death easier. Metaknight has fast sword stikes and is cool to play with. Snake has awesome attacks himself. Lucario is freaking awesome, Dedede is a not bad for a heavyweight and Ike, Ike is freaking awesome. One word to describe Ike is POWER.
P.S. the cutescenes is Brawl are especially awesome. Sheik is awesome in the cutscenes
I just spent like an hour and a half composing a beautiful blog entry about the top 10 list of games still needing to come to the VC, submitted it and *POOF* it was gone!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell me there is some kind of delay between Submission and it appearing on the site!
I hope they can retrieve it too; sounds like it'll be a good read.
I've had a similar problem here a couple times where I hit the submit button, and it would get stuck in the "processing" mode, and not auto-refresh the page; my post doesn't show up then either. I blame IE7.
I wasn't logged out. I didn't time out. It seemed to submit just fine, but it just hasn't shown up anywhere!
I'm really, really, really hoping there is just a delay or it's floating out there somewhere where Yoda or GG can retrieve it.
I haven't given up hope just yet. I just need to hear from one of them if it's really gone or not before I can relax!
I've directly checked the database and it's simply not there in any form.
Honestly, I am without any explanation as to how it's even possible for that to even happen. If a post doesn't go through, it will get stuck at processing or return an error for the sake of avoiding that exact problem.
I can't do anything about that post, unfortunately, but I can do something about future incidents. I will have to add an autosave feature that saves your blog to the session so even if the database screws up, as long as you don't close your window it will be fine.
I'm sorry about the problem, but I honestly am mystified as to how that happened.

This weekend I played MGS4 of course, beat it for the forth time onto my 5th. I am playing lots of MGO too. Best game in years, god I love this game so much.

At this point, the Wii has been out for 2 years and continues to light up the sales charts....its just fucking baffling how games companies can ignore that and continue to put less effort into Wii projects than they did for the Gamecube.
Wait until the end of this event season.
