I am telling all of you guys that left the GGD, Carnage and Grammaton are almost non issues anymore. The are still the same, Grammaton can still be a dick but he is a dick to people that used to be like him, its weird, he says stuff now that completely contradicts how he used to act. Carnage is still set in Nintendo views but he is a one trick pony, he says the same stuff all the time so everyone just ignores him on his Nintendo views. Every NPD thread he comes in and says the same post "clearly the Wii is selling only to casuals and the extreme Nintendo fans, looking at the top ten you can see how I am correct" *completely ignoring the fact that the top ten has like Mario Galaxy, Guitar Hero, Smash Bros., etc.*  Other than that he has been harmless.  Maybe its a by product of so many of the people that used to take on them leaving, or as I said way before, the transition into a new gen always brings out the worse in everyone, I really think now that things are settled everyone just sticks to what they like.  But enough of them, I still don't like them.

Oh one thing I wanted to talk about, Nights Wii, GG I guess you dont like it.  As I said its weird but if you like going for the high scores you will find a good game in there.

Resistance 2 videos are hot! The between buildings shootout in video 2 is so awesome.  Game is looking great, I hope you fight the Godzilla monster.

My best friend and I were trying to play Resistance the other day, and the aiming is just so phenomenally poor.  I hope they improve that in R2.  I like what I see so far though.  The multiplayer looks incredible.

edit:  ZOUNDS!!!!  That video gets really cool towards the end.

My main concern right now with a forum is integration and server load.  I am unsure what kind of load this server can handle (it is free, you know).  I could handle taking the comments code from this and making a forum out of it, but if we got, say, 100 active posters, what would happen.  Honestly, I lack knowledge in the technical aspect of server admin, so I'm not great at foreseeing scalability.  An alternative is an offsite, standalone forum, but that would require a separate login.

For those wondering, we have 1GB storage and 20GB monthly bandwidth.  That should handle plenty of load, but I'm more concerned about the CPU limit and whether there is a different restriction on database space.  Backups are limited to 8MB, so we're going to clear that in about 4 months, I'd wager.

The visual design is just swapping out a CSS file, so that's not a problem.  Editorials are just basically a site-specific blog with an editorial director to manage what is officially releeased.

These updates as well as the other pending updates, I can't really seriously get to until sometime next week, most likely.

Not refering to Carnage but people as a whole. This is always the most ridiculous way to judge game sales. I looked at the NDP's top selling 100 games (counting PAL and NTSC regions) of the year. And many games like Naruto, Spectrobes, Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party, Tiger Woods Wii, and what not got very respectable slots (this chart counts multiplats and all of these games are exclusvie). However they weren't even present on the NDP or Chart Tracker. Not all games sell on impulse buy many sell on a stellar moderate manner and eventually sell just as good or even better.

Well I guess it doesn't help that I'm playing Okami and Mass Effect and then I start playing NIGHTS and it's ehhhhh. I can't complain given how cheap it was though. I like the music and stuff. And that clown boss was cool so I am looking forward to more things like that. Anyhow if weirdo start turning up here, in general I hope we go the neogaf route of instant bans. I don't mind debate and disagreeing with people but I really sick of all the arguing over the years.

Those Mortal Kombat screens actually make it look fairly interesting, the series needed something to kick it in the pants.
