So apparently Hyperkin showed off a Gameboy system that they’ve made at this year’s CES. It plays original Gameboy cartridges and they are aiming to launch it by the end of the year and will likely be under $100 USD.

I definitely need to score an external HDD for this PS4 Pro. They have a nice 5 TB usb powered one on amazon for a little over $100. That should do me.
I had a 2 tb drive i installed in my old ps4, but the Pro only has a 1 tb and I didn't want to mess with switching them out. So I had to delete a good amount before I could do a system transfer. Now I only have like 40 gigs of free space. The Pro uses about 140 gigs for the system itself....crazy. 1 terabyte is nowhere near enough.
So it’s official now, Dark Souls remaster is coming to the Nintendo Switch. This bodes very well for the system but is Reggie’s body, or soul, ready?

The World Ends with You: Final Remix: This 2008 Nintendo DS game has been updated for Nintendo Switch with HD visuals and a new epilogue that sheds new light on the game’s story. Players can join rhythmic battles using either Joy-Con controllers or the Nintendo Switch touch screen. The game is scheduled to launch this year.

But what they showed was good. Nothing as huge as Zelda or Mario, but plenty to keep those who have already bought the system playing. If Aces turns out good I'll get that. I would have liked to get the WiiU version, but general concensus was that there was just too little content. The son will love it though, he has the 3DS game and always kept nagging us for the WiiU one. tWewY seems very cool as well. Ys just helped remind me how similar all those JRPG's look. It could have been a Xenoblade game.
I think the first question should be if Reggie even has a soul.

Never got around to getting The World Ends With You before but I really wanted to. Seeing a Switch version is great to hear for me. Will definitely get that.
Loved Pokken Tournament, Hyrule Warriors, and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze so I’ll definitely double dip and get those on the Switch as well.
I enjoy Kirby and Mario Tennis so will probably get those as well.
Never played an Y’s game before but I am interested in Y’s VIII so I may get that.
Would have preferred a straight up SNK fighter but I may get Heroines, will wait and see more on it.
The free dlc update to Super Mario Odyssey looks pretty cool.
Really looking forward to giving the Dragon Quest Builders demo a go. I love me some Dragon Quest goodness.

TWEWY has become one of my all-time favorites. The Solo Remix version of the game, which this version looks to be based on dialed back some of the difficulty with the original split-screen controls. Purists don't like that, but screw them. The game is better with just one screen. At any rate, definitely consider making this a day one purchase.
Yeah I heard a lot of good things about the game so I’m pretty eager to finally get my hands on it.

Cool little direct. Dark Souls remaster!!!! Don't care for ports but TWEWY on switch is super cool. All time classic game. Mario DLC is ok, was hoping for something better than balloons. Kirby games shouldn't even count any more as games.

Dark Souls Remaster is very cool, I'll personally be grabbing the PS4 version though there's lots of these 3rd-party Switch ports that I would like to grab if cheap enough just to HAVE them on a Nintendo system. It's cool to see games that you never expect to see on Nintendo systems. But on the Souls port...fuckin' a, why don't they also remaster the original game, Demon's Souls? A Demon's & Dark Remaster Collection would have been off the hook!
Also, the World Ends With You is great great news. I've been wanting to play this forever....bought it on DS when I had a 3DS but like usual never bothered with it because I hate handhelds. I also have a rom of it on the PC but never got around to it...so I'll be picking this up for sure. In fact, please just port over every great DS/3DS/Wii U game to the Switch....why the hell not.
Cool that they're getting Y's 8 too...but again that's a PS4 title for me.
No Metroid Prime 4 news makes me angry. At least give me a Samus HD ass shot.
