Doom, Clair Obscure, controversial news and a feature on the best format of the current gen.gameunder.net editorial impressions news aspro
Getting pretty far into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I really love how this game pulls you in. No matter how much you accomplish, you gotta push on and see more. Loce this type of gameplay.
Raven, I'm 90 minutes in to Hogwarts. The ratio of active playing to walking around/ watching cutscenes is not great. Does it get better? Or is this the tutorial phase of the game?
That's probably about the amount of time I have on the game too. Whenever I boot it up, I end up running around looking at everything instead of completing quests, lol.
Okay, a couple of hours in, now it's starting to kick in and be enjoyable. Still way too many cutscenes. I get it's based on a literary work, but even so, ultimately it's a game.
I don't think I played anything this weekend. I haven't been gaming much for at least over a month. There's just nothing that grabs my attention at the moment. I started the original bioshock but only played for an hour or two. Not very excited for Switch2 either...
Can you imagine the reaction if like Horizon Forbidden West or Uncharted came to Switch 2? They won't but it would be fun.
PH Brazil has said a new Nintendo Direct is coming on the week of Switch 2s launch and rumours are that there will be a 2nd round of games announced. Many insiders are heavily hinting that Microsoft is about to drop a load of Switch 2 announcements.
It's a good quick time waster. What's good is that when there's an important event happening it tells you what time, such as when creators voice videos drop.
It has a lot of 3D rotatable views of hardware like the Switch 2 dock etc.
But the real good thing about it is grabbing screenshots for phone screen savers as they put up a lot of art.
Digital Foundry finally got around to see the better Cyberpunk Switch 2 footage.
To quote resetera as I havent read or watched it:
"DF is now saying switch 2 version is equivalent to the series S version, and at times just outright beats it, in its 30fps mode, in terms of presentation. That's a pretty big retraction from their previous stance of "its a ps4 level experience with ps4 levels of performance" to now say its far and away massively superior. Good that they corrected themselves. Game looks pretty great and i look forward to replaying it on the go (my first playthrough was on series X)"
Quote from their current video:
"There's a massive difference in terms of image quality"
"There's no contest. Switch 2 is in another league"

I bet it ends up being a cult classic.
Cramping.
Some articles say Bloodborne, some say Shenmue 3.
Played a tiny bit of Doom adn Black Mesa but really just been playing Clair Obscur.
This weekend I've been playing Doom DA, Oblivion Remastered and Phantasy Star 1.
Astrobot!

Is that a PS4 game? Would love to see Uncharted and *rubs hands* Uncharted multiplayer.
Err... The Vr demo?

How much is it?
Now it's still hard to buy Nintendo consoles from them on day 1.
Now I have to travel and hang around all day from a delivery for a retailer I hardly use that isn't flexible on shipping addresses.
Half serious. For any other company, I'd assume it's a free app, but it's Nintendo, so I'm not actually sure, lol.
At the very good its good for taking screen shots of the art they post to use as phone screen savers.
I don't recall them ever resolving the issue with the 3DS. It just seemed like the system faded away more than anything else.
