Didn't she speak in the Other M?

Yes and people savaged it.

It does seem quite weird that she doesn’t talk at all. Some interactions feel like she at least say something. I’m sure there would be some that would hate her having a voice at all but I think they should have given her one regardless.

It's like Link.

Make him speak and people will go nuts. Yet its weird he's a mute.

So my Samus solution makes the most sense narratively. She's wearing alien tech so she cant speak without removing her helmet.

Same here. Liked the area and it was a fun boss fight.

Don’t mind traversing the desert area either but having to go back to base camp to get Myles to install these upgrade chips each time kind of sucks.

I've driven trucks over barren landscapes for 350+ hours in Snowrunner.

I'm okay with returning to Miles lol

Fair enough. LOL

I’ve been trying to keep up with my scanning as well. Currently my scans are at 70% and items at 33%.

Hideo Kojima talks about OD - Knock and Physint

08.12.25 - Hideo Kojima has spoken to Ananweb about the horror game OD (platform: TBA) and the "next generation action espionage game" Physint (PS5).

OD - Knock initially looks like an ordinary horror game in the trailer, but is supposed to pursue a concept that has not yet existed in this form. Kojima pointed out that previous work was based on well-known game designs, despite unusual ideas.

This time, a completely different system and service architecture is planned, which makes the development process particularly challenging. Clues are deliberately hidden in the trailer, and attentive fans can see possible connections.

told Physint that an espionage project of this kind is comparatively easy to structure, as established mechanics such as sneaking, infiltration and combat work well. Nevertheless, the team sees a challenge in going beyond familiar patterns: The plan is to use new interactive elements and a way of working that interlinks film and game production more closely.

Kojima also observes the rapid social development and considers that themes of the game could possibly appear earlier in reality.

Not having understood their own fans, Three Field (Wreckreation) now 2 steps away from closing

We don't understand Three Fields Entertainment. The studio, founded by the former Criterion employees, took time to build before delivering in 2019 what everyone expected from them, so Dangerous Driving, the spiritual sequel to Burnout. It was clearly imperfect, it lacked content due to a lack of budget but it's okay, we were on the right track, to the point of seeing the company announce a little later a Dangerous Driving 2.

And then finally, this sequel turned into a community and creative experience under the name of Wreckreation, available since October 25th, and Burnout fans turned their backs on this betrayal for the expected effect: it's a commercial failure, THQ Nordic has packed up its checkbook and now, not only should the post-launch content be canceled, but Three Fields Entertainment is now at risk of closure if they don't find a new publisher to make money.

The co-founders indicate their disappointment for themselves, the project and the employees, but at the same time eh...

I think some of the scanning is overdone in MP4.

There are things you already scanned in one area that are green and unscanned in a new area. It's the same box or enemy type.

Then in the ice labs there are so many consoles that I scanned one by one in case one actually did something. Yes there was a code in one, but did I really have to scan 30 more of the same looking console?

Definitely agree with that. Feel like I’m in scan mode more often then not in this game.

People complained about Samus in Other M though, so I get why they wouldn't try to go that route again.

And I had no problems witj scanning in 1 to 3.

4 has you scan the same things multiple times.

I liked the game, I'd play an HD version.

I hated the scanning. Annoying mechanic. Samus needs MS AI to do that faster and automatically.
