What's the point in utilizing the technology, if the install base is too small? Previous gen can't run it nor can pre GTX2000 cards. With how long it takes to make games these days it's no suprise we haven't seen many games use it yet.
If the Switch2 can utilize it, that'll give exclusives (and thus Nintendo themselves) another tool to close the gap visually with current gen. Although, by the time Nintendo decides to release the darn thing, mesh shaders might have become commonplace.
I read that software based mesh shaders, used in ue5 aren't practical to use, too intensive or something.
I still have a physical PS3 copy of Sonic's Genesis Collection too, which is still the best one by far.
Release a Saturn and Dreamcast collection, Sega!
They’re also delisting some other games as well apparently. I got the Xbox One version but have been thinking about getting the PS4 version also. May do that before it gets pulled.
Yeah there’s really only a select few on there that I’d play for longer then 10 or 15 minutes.
Well my country is fucking stupid but I'm getting VF6! So something's are good at least lol.
I'm bummed at the Mario and Luigi scores, I know it's at 80 but some of the reviews hit points that I have had issue with newer Mario RPGs, I think I will pass on this for now. Nintendo just refusing to give us any switch 2 news, getting annoying.
I have been playing Dragon Age, started off slow but now the combat has really picked up and there is a surprising amount of depth with the team building and strategy. The writing isn't up to the standards of old BioWare, this really feels like a marvel movie DA game.
There was a dumb ass IGN review.
I'm not getting it anyway. I have other games I need to pick up first, but I need to work on my backlog anyway.
I've fully upgraded the skill tree. I have a bad ass red armour.
But I haven't unlocked the true final boss. Now the Internet is telling me I have to find all the black chests and he'll holes, which are all hidden in the levels.
Apparently both the normal and shadow versions of each level has a hidden black chest.
This is going to suck. Not sure I can be bothered.
I might get Mario and Luigi this weekend. I could really do with some whimsical light adventuring. Haven't played any of the games save for the GBA original I think.
On their most recent releases too, Artifex Mundi.
The games are as low as £1.39
I bought 5 of the newest ones to add to my collection. I have 54 now.
Hi everyone. I've been choking on work and sick. No gaming for me to speak of. By the time I get to the end of the day I'm too exhausted.
I did install Launchbox though, which has been fun:
https://www.launchbox-app.com/
Its a game launcher fo all the game on your PC, saving you from having to remember what games you have on all the various storefonts. I've been very happy with it so far and I'm just using the free version.
Metro VR game would be scary AF. You'd have to pay me to play a game like that in VR.
Wimp!
I want to play it but it'll give me motion sickness for sure.
This weekend, I've been playing various versions of Ms. Pac-man: Arcade, 2600, 7800 and Sega Genesis. I'm terrible at the arcade version, but decent at the 2600 and 7800 versions, probably since I played them a lot as a kid. I owned the Genesis version back in the day and really like it, excellent graphics update, but the scrolling screen sucks.
You likely already knwo the story but this weekend I read an interview with the GCC guys. They were going to call her Miss Pacman, bu thtne someone said, yeah but in the cutscenes she and Pacman have a baby, she should not be out of wedlock. So they changed it to Mrs. Pacman, but then one of the GCC wives (who had not taken her husbands name) objected. So Ms. Pacman it was.
And yes, the Genesis version is great. I used to play it on my SEGA nomad (my favourite gaem to play on the Nomad actually).
Yup. I remember reading that too. Times were different in the 80s.
Been playing The Last of Us Part II this weekend. Great looking game, solid gameplay, and a pretty strong emotional story. Am quite enjoying it.
