Wow that was an underwhelming announcement especially Mario Kart. That's a launch title of new uber powerful handheld?
Edit: I watched it a 2nd time. It's not going to be fully backwards compatible?
Games that use the IR sensor like 1, 2 switch or Nintendo Labo.
Everything else should work.
Mario Kart is a hugely successful game that would be a great launch titles, but the way it's just plastered a few seconds onto a screen is not the best way to reveal it.
Yeah, pretty weak reveal but I’m glad that it’s finally official now. I very much like the look of the system. Bigger and more powerful is all I need. Awesome to see a new Mario Kart game. Kind of bummed that we have to wait until April for a Direct on it.

If that's all that's not compatible then that's okay with me.
I hope MK9 gets a lot of visual improvements before release. That trailer makes it look like DLC.
So apparently Elon musk is feuding with a streamer over a game called Path of Exile 2. It all goes back to Elon paying people to level up a character and then showing that he wasn't that great at the game while he streamed it himself.
It's really quite remarkable that someone could be the richest person on Earth, and still be this insecure about a video game.
I hope that all of the people who leaked Switch 2 information/those who helped leak it will be cursed for the rest of their lives to always have poop on the soles of their shoes when they get home…
…Now that I’ve enjoyed the surprise announcement of Okami with all the users, I truly believe that… all those damn leakers should be cursed…
The shitty leaker only acts for his own pleasure and self-satisfaction, not only is he not contributing to anyone’s benefit, he is incurring all sorts of opportunity losses, and has done nothing to be proud of in front of others. He is the worst of scum, so he should be covered in shit from head to toe and thrown out of the atmosphere… and then stop thinking and wander forever…
These damn leakers are in a position of responsibility where they have access to information that only a very select few know, yet what they do is nothing more than an expression of a filthy desire for approval that lacks a shred of rationality; they are shameful people, so it is not the manufacturers whose secrets have been exposed who should be blamed, but these damn people, and they need to be crushed as soon as possible…

I've never witnessed an individual who has morphed into a clown as quickly as he has.

from what I've gathered about the guy, he's always been a clown. I mean, what else can you say about a guy who has been obsessed with naming everything 'x' for 25 years. He's just in the spotlight now and has more opportunities to remind everyone of what he really is.
I went back and watched the switch 1 reveal trailer. So much better.
I did as well. Of course back then they had to convince people of the use case, while Switch 2 is just a continuation of what is now a known concept.
Today's reveal seems more like a trailer for the April direct. A way to shut up the leakers. I wonder if we'll see third parties start talking about their games now, or if Nintendo has them all in an iron grip to keep mum untill the Direct to end all directs.

Did we even have a Switch 1 leak? I cannot recall a credible one.
From my memory the broad details of the Switch were out there, that it was a handheld that went into a dock so you could use it on your TV - and had detachable joypads. But I don't remember any images getting out. There were convincing mock-ups, like a football shaped tablet.
If you want a trip down memory lane search for "Nintendo NX leaks" or similar.

I guess third parties can now show off their Switch 2 games at least.

Yeah, I’ve some stuff about. It’s wild at just how fragile this guy is.

Seems he didn't like the Switch 2 leaks.
All the leaks were spot on. Even the boring logo.
Pretty underwhelming trailer.

just rumors. I don't recall any credible leaks. GG would know.
