Really enjoying this. It's probably the best version you guys would enjoy as it's a Stranger Things like setting.
It's got animated cutscenes, you can recruit special friends to ride about on bikes with.
I rescued this rower and he pushed a dumpster as a shield as we pushed forward to destroy some monsters.
You are a teenager and the kids you recruit are all the smaller kids. Your base is a campsite, instead of wooden walls you build up makeshift dumpster and tyres and stuff.
I bought a new book on Amazon called "NES Endings Compendium Vol. 1 - 1985-89." I was just made aware of it, because the author is preparing to release Volume 2 which covers 1990 through the end of the system.
It's been a lot of fun to read. It's kind of like getting a new issue of Nintendo power. Some games get spotlighted a little bit more than others, particularly if they were a little more story heavy. Sometimes game art from the manuals is included. And the author provides some thoughts and opinions on some of the endings as well.
For me this is almost like an opportunity to go back and look at the ending to games I rented or just couldn't complete. I definitely recommend picking this up if you still have appreciation for the 8-Bit era.
Did you all see the EGM kickstarter, I bought it, hardcover detailing the history of gaming through EGM. Plus I ordered their digital archive of every single issue.

I had no idea. Thanks for letting us know! Sounds awesome.
Haven't played much during this week, lots of working but I did finish SH2 and it's an all time great horror game, so much better than the original. I can't believe how great it turned out.
UFO 50 is a neat idea but a lot of the games I don't care about. It doesn't really feel like NES games, at least the ones I have done. It feels very much like modern fake NES game collection, not a fake NES like collection.

oh that does look cool. May have to debate backing that one.
Seems great, love the art. Seems fairer than the OG game.
Can still be tough though.
Once you beat it the first time, a second mode will open up. That version is pretty nasty, although once again it's still a lot more fair than those original games.
This weekend I've been beating people down, splashing around, and driving fast in Street Fighter Alpha 1 & 3 arcade, DOA 5, Wave Race 64, Wipeout Omega and, of course, GT7.
This weekend I finished up Resident Evil 7 and got the platinum trophy and started playing Resident Evil Village on the PS5 this time. Still quite enjoy both games.
I played SF Alpha 2 for a bit just now. It's a good game but better than Alpha 3? Nah.
While I certainly enjoy a lot about SFA3 there was just something about it presentation wise that I found to be less appealing then the previous two games.
Been playing Kingdom Eighties.

Music is synthetic. Colour palette is beautiful.

Been trying Ghosts n Goblins resurrection.
