I saw that in my Steam update queue and thought, "I don't remember buying that" and did not even look at what it was, thanks for the heads up.
I played The Good Garden, A Plague Tale Innocence and Thank Goodness You're Here.
The Good Garden is made by the same people who made Thank Goodness You're Here and is only a half hour long and available for free on Steam and Itch.io. Impressions will be on the podcast.
My internet cap was reached on Friday, which means I've been slowed down until the end of the month. When this happens it is kind fo liberatign as I download all the games and updates I want without penalty of it counting against my data cap (albeit everythings takes a long time to download). Downloaded about 150 gig of games and updates on Steam yesterday.
I finally finished Baldur's Gate 3, so I've been playing a few short things before I move on to something longer.
How can you download 150GB in one day with slowed internet?!
That's starting on Saturday lunch time going through until Sunday night. They do still give me normal speeds between 10pm and 4am (until that 50GB is used up.
Skynet or whatever it is called is looking like more of a deal every month. $140 a month unlimited data.
lol. I only laugh because I do shit like that every day.
I haven't kept up with this game. It has Halo and Dune aircrafts in it now? WTH? Might be cool, I guess. I thought it was all about real world planes and places. MS chasing the tie-in $$$.
Its on Game Pass if you subscribe.
Yeah, I thought about that but I'll wait. I'd rather not pay monthly.
MSFS is probably a pretty hefty game as well. Not sure how big the download is but it’s probably pretty big.
It's round 150GB on Series S. Forza 8 was 100GB. I don't have any other large games installed, so hopefully I'll have enough room.
That’s actually kind of smaller then I was expecting to be honest.
Nothing like flying right out of your hometown airport and checking out your town. I crashed into my house.
It's worth buying just for the pixel art cutscenes. It's really gory and detailed, looks exquisite.
Also bought Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishment and the Devils Daughter bundle.
Really great ports, the first one especially, you don't often see this level of quality on 3rd party switch games.
It's like Castlevania with slower, meatier combat.
It's really brutal and uncompromising in atmosphere.
Has a Hellraiser like vibe, really great pixel art.
It was only because of it being incessantly recommended by you tubers in sales videos that I got it.
Seems well worth it already.
