Made it through all of the “classic” Mega Man games ie. Mega Man 1 through 11. Once I hit 4 it started to feel like a slog. Bosses just didn’t seem as creative or cool and some cheap sections took a bit of a toll. Once I hit 7 it felt better. The bump up in graphics and music quality helped as did some of the features that the SNES allowed for. When they went back to the 8-bit style for 9 and 10 it was kind of neat. The last one, 11, was quite good. The double gear system was a very cool addition.

You're definitely right about when Mega Man hit that wall. There was a hurricane many years ago, and I basically sat down with the Mega Man Collection and played through that. And yeah, around 4 The well definitely started to run dry. That said, I did enjoy Mega Man 7 for the Super Nintendo. The extra power freshened things up a little bit.

You could really notice that Mega Man 2 to 6 were coming out on a yearly cycle. 2 was excellent, 3 was good, then those diminishing returns really started kicking in. Think there was like a 2 year space between 6 and 7.
You also reminded me that I have a copy of Mega Man 11. Sitting on my shelf. I bought that along with a stack of other games when covid first broke out. I played it for about an hour and then thought it was too hard and moved on to something else. Maybe I should move on to that soon.
I rarely look at DLC for games, but this morning I was curious to see how much it would cost to get all of the new characters and costumes in Street Fighter 6. Season Pass 1 ultimate = $50. Season pass 2 ultimate = $50. $100? On top of the full price I paid for the game last year. I'll be waiting for a sale or something, lol.

It is pretty difficult for sure. I played on Normal but it also has easier difficulty options. You can purchase some gear and stuff from Dr. Light’s shop that really help out. It took me a bit of just collecting bolts to purchase a few items that helped me to get the ball rolling.

I have so many gaming magazines. Decades long runs of game informer, EGM, Play and a lot of smaller ones that came and went.
Happy Frigay! My body is ready!
Happy Frigay y’all! We work hard, we play hard!
Same here. Had stacks of EGM, Gamefan, and Nintendo Power. Got rid of them years ago and now often get the urge to flip through them and reminisce.
Happy Frigay , everyone!

Nice!
I never gotten close to beating a single Mega Man game.
Me neither. Not a single one.
