I used it with Amazon Lovefilm Prime, before they killed off Lovefilm.
It was great searching for stuff to watch on the wii u pad whilst streaming something else for others to watch. Also meant I could hide shit I didn't want to get trapped into watching, like gardening programs or soaps from whomever was in the room

Real men don't knit.
It takes a big man to knit. It takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
So, no crocheted mittens for you this year.
Thoughts on Disney investing $1.5 billion in Epic?
I'm guessing it's mostly about Fortnite and not a game development deal. So we'll end up with Disney characters in Fortnite (if they are not already there). It's go to be more than just the amusement park though... (See story).
Or is $1.5 billion "not a lot of money" anymore?
Yeah, dunno. Interested in your thoughts on it.
$1.5 billion is a lot of money, just not for Disney or Epic.
Some Disney content (star wars stuff?) has appeared in Fortnite already, so they were already friendly. I guess it makes sense for the largest IP holder in the world to cooperate with the largest entertainment product in the world. It'd be mutually beneficial.
Epic has made no secret of their wish to expand Fortnite into an effective metaverse, I'm guessing this is just the next step. So far they seem to be doing well. Their game is seemingly viewed more as a platform than as competition, with IP's from nearly everyone, bar Nintendo, having popped up in Fortnite already.
You nailed it here, "I guess it makes sense for the largest IP holder in the world to cooperate with the largest entertainment product in the world. "
This seems entertaining:
Netflix film crew will follow Red Sox in '24
https://www.mlb.com/news/netflix-will-follow-2024-red-sox-for-docuseries
BOSTON -- The 2024 season will be one in which the Red Sox will allow viewers worldwide a rare chance to sneak behind the curtain and see what the grind of a Major League season is all about.
It was announced on Wednesday that Netflix, in conjunction with MLB Studios, will have unprecedented access to follow the '24 Red Sox from start to finish.
That access will turn into a docuseries that will debut in 2025.
This marks the first time Netflix has followed an MLB team over the course of a full season.
I think back then I assumed that wii u was such a flip, Netflix had no interest in doing a switch app. It took a few years before the other streaming services arrived.
2K say virtual currency is "fiction", as lawsuit continues Class-action complaint claimed money stolen when games shut down.
Very interesting this. Take-Two and 2K say that virtual currency isn't currency at all and that it is covered by the EULA, which states that they can terminate it whenever they feel like it.
But what is virtual currency in its essence? Is virtual currency a form of currency, or is it an exchangable virtual good. Then again, what is currency other than an item with a virtual value attached to it that you own solely for the purpose of exchanging it for another good with actual value?
If the court blindly follows the EULA, this could be over very quickly. But it could also trigger an investigation of the nature of virtual currency with far reaching implications.
I was thinking more along the lines of pics of Miyamoto in a thong.
