Xbox Popping Full Screen Ads Again
They cannot be opted out of.
I haven't turned on my Xbox in a few months. That sounds really annoying. MS need money this badly?
I finished up Bioshock 2 and moved right on to Bioshock Infinite. Right away, you can notice a change in production values and in gameplay. It feels more like an adventure and I love how it feels sort of like an open world though the game moves you along a set path. I do wish I loved the city of Columbia as much as Rapture. Its still creepy in its own way.
The idiots have bastardized Windows, so it's par for the course.
I haven't seen these ads.
I also tried playing Kung-Fu (NES) yesterday. I made it to the third level and that was about as far as I'm getting on that.
I beat kung fu...back in the eighties.
I've had Kung Fu Master on Atari 2600 since I was a kid. I can't remember how far I got. It's surpsingly similar to the NES.
I never beat the second level.
I played a bit of Kung-Fu in the arcades back in the day. Never played the other versions. Yie-Ar Kung Fu was more my jam.
Yeah, for sure. Once Street Fighter 2 hit it was all over.
Can't make that judgement from a demo but I can say it feels as good to control. I was impressed with the demo.
Hey I see game under podcast recording live on discord, now I'm a night shift guy so I'm up at crazy hours again. Haven't talk to you guys in ages.
I have been playing mostly BG3 which is a masterpiece and might pass Zelda as my GOTY. It might be the greatest RPG I have ever played. I am super hooked.
foolz is about to talk re if you want to join us.
EDIT: Well missed today but we recored every other week at the same tiem, so your nightshift hours may work out for us all.
I played some more Pikmin4 this weekend. The (first?) post-credits area is pretty cool from a gameplay perspective, but Nintendo has thrown out any aspiration to make it look like a natural environment. It's very clearly a 'level'. Which is ok, but I've always much prefered the way levels were made to resemble a random slice of nature.
Thanks to Aspro, I'm on Ebay now trying to find a copy of Chronicles of Riddick for PS3.
I'm right now. 👍
Edit: Seems I downloaded EP145 instead when I right-clicked EP146.
