So my 13 year old nephew was mugged by 3 older kids. They bundled him away from the road into an alley.

They stole his wallet, phone, airpods, house keys, train pass, ipad and even his coat. It's been 7 Celcius here.

The parents had to spend $800 just to change the locks on the house.

Kid doesn't have a coat that fits and he has to go back to school soon.

He's okay but he's freaked out. Doesn't want to leave the house or go anywhere without an adult.

They didn't hurt him. He's so tall I forget that he's still so young.

And I mean this in the best positive way, but why on earth does a kid these days need to carry around such a large amount of expensive gear?

Times certainly have changed. When I was 13, all I would have had with me was a paperback book.

And depending on Raven's age, even that would have been considered a risk.  Why, if he'd be nearing 200 now, a book would have been worth a small fortune back then!

The bigger cost was changing the locks. Can't believe they stole his coat though.

I ordered Metroid Prime remastered.

Cant believe we're getting Metroid, Octopath Traveler 2, Pikmin 4 and a new Zelda in the next couple of months or so.
