I wish Capcom would service Switch with a different big series of games other than Monster Hunter. They don't interest me at all.
Nier port looks okay. Not my sort of game though unless there's an easy mode.
Lorelei and the laser eyes is interesting, more my style.
New Monkey Island fuck yeah!
Art style reminds me of Jenny Leclue 😊
Wtf is this chibi Little Noah? Nope.
Railgrade? Nerds
The Legend of Wright, wtf? Looks fun actually.
Sonic oh noes. Sonic look so out of place in this environment.
What's this Disney game? Animal Crossing?
Live a Live looks great.
DQ game looks bunk.
Portal, always been curious, never enough to buy it. Need a demo
Harvestella? Might as well get Rune Factory? Or play the Atelier games?
Persona, woefully late. Yah
Pretty good Direct.
LOL, probably over 6, still not as much as RE4.
Also tried the Lost ruins demo. It's pretty good. Pixel art game where you're this cute schoolgirl dropped into a Dungeon. Animation is so cute.
Holy crap that actually looks pretty cool. For all it's flaws, I like the first Epic Mickey. Never got around to the sequel though. This would have grabbed my attention a bit more though.
Yes! I loved quackshot!
EG's hosting a whole slew of articles about queerness in games during the Pride Week. I'm all for equality and everything, but EG is faaar to the left when it comes to stuff like this. Sometimes I'd rather they'd be a bit more neutral. I'm all for diversity, but they can go really overboard to the point where it feels I'm being forcefed articles about the queer community.
Also, when it comes to gay and bi stuff it always feels as if lesbianism is much more culturally accepted than gay guys. Over here there's a bank advertising their home loans with a poster showing a lesbian couple. Whenever I see stuff like that I wonder if lesbians being more accepted isn't also down to patriarchism, where deep down all men are just perverts who get hard thinking about 2 women having sex.
But yeah, I do think it tends to be a little overboard. My son is gay, and around pride month I know he starts rolling his eyes really really hard because he just gets bombarded with messaging. Plus he gets pissed off when we go to Target and stuff he wants is moved around because of pride displays.
It's all just very matter of fact for him, and he's like "tone it down." But he's a gay teen with a super supportive family in a super supportive city were somewhere in Oklahoma, he'd feel very differently about it.
In conclusion, now that I've looked over what I've written, I think it's clear I pretty much just babbled and there you go.
I really got a chuckle from the Harvestella reveal yesterday. “The seasons flow from Spring to Summer to Fall then Winter but they all give way to, the Season of Death!”
Well that escalated quickly.
Indeed. When I first heard it I was like, “Wait, what?”
Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration has 90 games!? Sold!
Definitely!
That's a whole lot of squares.
It's hip to be square.
Xbox can't run that.
