Guess I'll start with Origins since it comes with Game Pass. Valhalla looks so different from any other game in the series so I will probably give that a try later.
Suprisingly good, it often gets put on sale for 2 USD which is insane given the effort put into the game.
Seriously it might as well be called 2D Deus Ex.
You can use stealth, guns, or your fists. There are conversations with dialogue choices.
Auments to apply, articles to read, things to hack.
The combat is like a 2D plane beat em up. Few weird control decisions, block move. There's a roll manoeuvre.
I picked the casual combat difficulty. The graphics and atmosphere are pretty awesome.
Looking forward to playing more. Its all going to hinge on whether the combat gets annoying or not.
At the moment I haven't got my first weapon yet. There are stealth kills which work well, you can duck into containers etc and pop out.
I would like a map, but the environment hasn't yet got complicated enough to need one.
I hear the game has 30 hrs of content.
It's decent-ish.
You just walk around a very small island with oversized objects from your childhood. So a huge vcr or crt TV. Or a fake famicon.
That's it. It doesn't really evoke any nostalgia as you're generally just walking by these objects.
Time moves forward or back. You're just moving energy orbs around. There's no voice acting, no context for why any things are happening.
Saturn Mini would be awesome! Dreamcast mini too!
Never been a big Sonic fan myself. Played a few games here and there. Found some to be ok but I don’t think that I’ve actually played any of them to completion. Thought the new Sonic game looked so-so. Probably not something that I would buy but if it ever hit Game Pass then I would at least give it a go there.
A fine recommendation if I ever heard one.
Edit: I hope they include 32X games on the Mega Drive 2 mini.
I suppose this isn't the worst case scenario. I mean, it's still better than the Game Gear Micros that they put out last year. Guess it will come down to the library. I'm not overly familiar with the Sega CD library, but I don't remember it being particularly large, so this is still going to primarily be a lot of 16 bit games one way or another.
"We hear you love the Dreamcast and Saturn so without further ado, introducing the Sega Megadrive Mini 2!"
I really love that game. Its one of those game I wish I could forget about, then experience it again like its the first time.
I kept thinking, what's the point?
The hd versions still look and play great. I'd rather they just added gyro to existing versions.
Additionally, I wouldn't mind if they made some more dramatic changes towards the end of the game at the military base and maybe even in the castle.
I’m definitely down for the Resident Evil 4 Remake. I love the original game but even the HD versions look pretty dated both from a texture and polygon count quality. I can get use to the controls after some time with the game but it definitely takes some readjusting to do so and even then can still be kind of clunky. Also since this is a remake I think think they’ll also adjust a few things with tone and story stuff as well.
When the proce is right, I'll download the RE4make. Just like the Dead Space remake.
I actuallly googled 'proce' before realizing you meant to type price.
You write elegant proce.
I just assumed ‘proce’ was price in some snobbish type of accent. At least that’s how I imagined it being said in my head.
Thats how we talk in the south. The proice is roight. Hang on toight.
