So, I've now beaten and got the true ending of 3 out of 4 of the main characters.

And also got the Robot character who was hell to unlock. Having to carry an old CRT TV around which drops out everytime you do a dodgeroll.

I think I've cracked this game now. Only enemy I find deadly is the hammer that incessantly follows you about and smashes you every few seconds.

All the bosses are excellent, fair and managable.

I really love this game, you got to get it on switch as its perfect for portable play and especially for second screening.

Did I mention you can play in local 4 player co-op? This is a game that can give you hundreds of hours of enjoyment but is instantly accessible within seconds.

It's like if Final Fight had 4 player co-op, levels that were constantly changing. A huge variety of enemies and bosses.

Chests and hidden rooms everywhere. Items and weapons that significantly changed the way you play the game. Secret levels, secret items, tons more depth. And a shop with an ingame economy system.

I’ll never forget walking into my local arcade and seeing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when it first came out. My excitement was palpable. Immediately started playing it with three other people I knew from hanging around there. We kept pumping in quarters until we beat it with the arcade owner watching us on. I’m sure he was happy to see us do this. LOL

Omfg guys.

So hear me out. In Enter the gungeon you can get buddies as items. Like a little robot, skeleton, space ship, space turtle.

It's like a mini buddy that fires weak shots and is invincible. He's there to help you out.

So I picked up this badge item from a chest and it spawned a little black cop in uniform on the verge of retirement 😂

It's Danny Glover from Lethal Weapon. And best of all, unlike most sidekicks, you can talk to him and he spouts old movie like quotes as a cop on the verge of retirement. It's amazing 😂

This is amazing. Sounds awesome, glad you loved the game.

The TMNT collection is a lot better than I expected. That's as thorough of a release as you could have done for that era. Plus, I'm just excited to have Tournament Fighters back. I think that was my favorite non Street Fighter fighting game from back then. The super Nintendo one anyway, the Genesis one was actually pretty awful if I remember correctly.

What a collection!!!! Easily my favorite thing from yesterday. I'm even going to replay the nightmarish NES TMNT1 lol. But man I loved all those games, I would love to have them with modern features and the museum stuff sounds RAD. I love TMNT.

So I've been playing Elden Ring a ton, just so much Elden Ring. It's so huge.

I did get GT7 and I must say that game is a dream car game. I am not a gear head but I can appreciate the love and care that went into every aspect of this game. It's wild the amount of information you get for every single car, museums that give you a detailed history of every manufacturer and some world history to boot. Over 2500 real world locations to take pictures of your car in each with a description on why that spot was chosen. The amount of content is staggering. And that's before you get to the racing which is as great as ever. I love it.

I was screwing around on TikTok and I came across a guy who was speed running TMNT. I can't tell you how pissed off that made me. This guy was going through the game like it was nothing. And within 5 minutes reached a point in the game I had never even seen before.

NES TMNT is infuriating.  I remember watching Angry Videogame Nerd's take on it and it was spot on.

Fun Fact, Scott Parasi borrowed my copy of TMNT and I never got it back. It wasn't really his fault though. We lived kind of far away and every time we tried to meet up so he could give it back there was always a weird problem. So I don't hold a grudge. I wonder if he still has it. I should look him up.

I have fond memories of TMNT on the NES.  But yeah, it was hard as nails.  I could make it to the final boss, but never managed to defeat it.  I'm looking forward to have another go at it when this bundle releases.  My skills may have faded, but with the mighty powers of rewind, I might just be able to pull it off.

Next week I'm going to Texas to visit my family. There's not a heck of a lot to do out where they live, so I decided to get the Google Play Pass. It's just easier to play with my phone than trying to bring the Switch along.

Anyway, you never really appreciate just how many terrible games there are in the world until you browse through a library like this. If there was ever an award for throwaway City simulator games, I feel like this library would have to qualify as the trophy case. They're sooooo many of them.

It's a free month to test though, so I'm going to give it a shot. Honestly I'd be surprised if I use it after next week. They do offer stardew valley, which is nice had I not already purchased it. Hopefully I'll find a few other gems though. I mean, if there's a thousand games here there's got to be three or four good ones right?

This is kind of cool. NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits got a mobile port a while back. That was maybe the best WiiWare game. Controls for it were perfect. Nice to see it's getting a second life, even though it probably won't be quite as good without an IR pointer.

I have it on Steam. Mouse/keyboard controls work well enough; I can't imagine playing it with a touchscreen, though. Wiimote version is the best.

There's quite a few graphic adventures on it, though I can't play them on a tiny phone screen. Gabriel Knight, Yesterday. Also Life is Strange. And a lot of Artifex Mundi games that won't impress played on mobile. All random tapping and low resolution artwork.

Broken sword is on it too.

I wonder if different countries/regions have different games available. Broken sword is not on the list. I just looked it up and it is still only for purchase.

This weekend I inched a little bit closer to the end of Bug Fables.  It's infuriating to have so little time to play.

Are you like me? Drowning in work and having to wait on others who take over the TV?
