My Switch gaming has been very sporadic. I started off the year with a lot of Splatoon 2, and then cooled off until September when I picked up Rune Factory 4. Now that I've got SMTV I'll probably end the year with it as well.
In others news, why didn't I get an email from Nintendo?
I didn't want to say anything, but I kind of chewed him out over StarTropics 3. He sent me a beta version, and I told him that I didn't feel it was true to the original since they had it taking place in Detroit. Then we each said a few things to the other that I'm sure we'd like to take back.
Anyway, I thought he'd be the bigger man about it, but I guess I'm wrong.

Oh I guess I got that email from Nintendo after all. Most interesting thing was that my gameplay is split almost exactly 50/50 between handheld and docked mode. Also, I didn't play soccer Frontier nearly as long as I thought I did. Might have to revisit that soon.
In the meantime, I hope it's not too late to get a Christmas card out to shiggy.
They have these seasons that last about 8 weeks. First there was American season, then British, now Full throttle.
They updated the game with an awesome new track that is about 4x as big as any other track.
They uploaded a host of new cars to unlock. And this morning when I turned the game on it suddenly sent me all these messages from a fictional driving syndicate that wanted to recruit me, to fulfill all these missions.
I've been playing Civ 6 on small maps since I started playing the game last month. Today,I wanted to try a tiny map; figured it would be a faster game. It was faster and much more difficult than larger maps. I'm sticking with larger maps for now on, lol.
Don't know what happened, but I'm enjoying Crysis 2 a lot more than I originally did.
Probably the motion controls. Quite a meaty game too, much longer than I remember.
Now onto the switch sale, there are so many games to choose from. I'd appreciate any feedback if you've played or know the reputation of some of these games:
Indivisible
Shakedown Hawaii
Yooka Laylee
Saints Row 4
Metal slug 4
Brothers two sons
Eastward
Beyond blue
Streets of Rage 4
The Long reach
Unmetal
Road 96
Morbid seven acolytes
Roki
The Low Road
The Touryst
Played a bit of Yooka Laylee and The Touryst and both seemed like ok games. Probably worth a cheap pick up. I played a few Metal Slug games. Not sure if 4 was one of them but they’re all enjoyable games so would recommend that one. Played Streets of Rage 4 and it was good. Most people seem to talk pretty highly of it. I just never was big into that franchise myself.
Definitely a Metal Gear fan myself but not interested in Unmetal. Seems like a cute/funny take on the MGS tropes though going from those screens.

Are you on the outs with Shiggy?

No more nudity in Animal Crossing New Horizons? Well, time to sell the game then.
There are almost 2000 games on sale right now on the Euro eshop
I bolted it to my dock.

Big sale on Xbox right now too. Saints Row games, LEGO games, etc.
Wanted Touryst for ages but the discount is always tiny.
