Cause the franchise wouldn’t be around without sales. RE4 allowed the series to stay popular and allowed it to evolve into what we have now.
Its fantastic, way better than the first.
This weekend, I started Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. I also tried to find out What Remains of Edith Finch. What about you guys?
Well you are the definitive expert on the subject. I'm going to trade in World of Final Fantasy today. It's neat nostalgia, but not very fun and somehow I lost about 30 minutes of gameplay. That's enough to make me toss this game aside. I was thinking RE7 or Revelations 2. Guess we'll see what's in stock.
This weekend I played mostly Monster Hunter World with some Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and a sprinkle of Forza Motorsport 7.
It is better than the first, and pretty enjoyable. But still feels like B tier material.
Witcher 3 complete edition seems to be switch bound. Can it even run on it?
That's probably because it is B tier.
I've been dancing with the fiery duo in Monster Hunter World and have been exploring giant infested ruins in Bravely Default: End Layer.
Remember that Super Mario Sunshine remaster rumored for Switch a couple years back? E3 2019! *holds breath*
I would love that.
I never did play Super Mario Sunshine but am curious as to how it actually is. It seems to be the least favourite or among the least favourite of the Super Mario games.
It’s a great game, however, Mario’s worst enemy is the camera. Still a hell of a game.
Who said anything about RE4?
All I'm saying is, they could have easily went from RE4 to RE2make (or a game just like it) that would have felt like a much more proper evolution of the series, back in like 2008 or whenever RE5 came out. Sure the graphics wouldn't have been as nice, whatever. The game could have otherwise been basically the same. Again I do like pretty much all the games to an extent, but just in terms of RE being RE, that would have been the preferrable path.
In terms of sales, you could argue a box of rocks would have sold like gangbusters after the hype RE4 created. Although there was definitely the element of the late 00's multiplayer coop craze that RE5 & RE6 had that I'm sure captured a new crowd who wouldn't otherwise care about RE.
I haven't played Sunshine since the Gamecube days. I wonder how I'd like it now? But I loved it back in the day. The camera did suck at times though.
