I've finally arrived home from Key West. By the way, if you haven't been you really have to go. If the threat of hurricanes wasn't so ridiculous I'd give some serious thought of retiring there. Hell, the wife and I still talking about it, even with the risk. Great place. I've fallen in love with it.

Anyway I spent my downtime on the island playing Dragon Quest 8 on the 3DS. Such a great game, and a wonderful walk down memory lane, but fuck I really dislike the 3DS. Even with the XL, the thing is just not comfortable to hold for more than 15 minutes. And since I've been back I've been playing the first Spyro the Dragon game on Spyro Reignited as well as my one PSN sale pick-up, Hollow Knight, which is far more difficult than I anticipated. I guess all those descriptions of it being a 2-D version of Dark Souls should have clued me in.

We went up to it, but we decided not to go in. They only accepted cash, and I didn't have any left at that moment. That's all for the best anyway. My wife and I talked about it, and neither of us were big fans of his. The real interest to see the Hemmingway cats, because we used to have one.

I’m somewhat in the same boat. I really enjoyed the first game and only played a bit of the second one but it seemed pretty good. There’s so many great games I need to pick up plus ones I’m looking forward to in the future that I doubt I’ll ever get around to this third one. GameSpot giving it a 4 doesn’t really make me any more eager to want to try it either.

Darksiders 4 reviews round up?

Ariana Grande appears to have acquired her very own Switch. The only problem is, she had to sort out a few things before she could enjoy Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with a friend who was in another location.

Taking to Instagram, Ariana asked her 123 million followers how she could play Mario Kart online with a friend:

“does anybody know how to playmario kart with a friend from different locations onnintendo switch? pls dm me it’s urgent. thank u so much.”

She obviously worked out friend codes needed to be exchanged and a Nintendo Switch Online subscription was required in order to get the race up and running. After this was solved, she posted the following picture acknowledging the "crazy" powers of modern technology:

Yeah that Batman Returns game was pretty dope. I don’t think that it’s ever been offered for play digitally on any other platform. Licensing issues and all that.
