Just platinumed Tales From The Borderlands.
This is the most entertaining TellTales game I've played so far, much much better than I thought it would be. I may have enjoyed it more than the actual real Borderlands games. Great character interaction throughout. I'd really like to see these guys apply their craft to a ton more big franchises.
That is definitely on my to play list.
Just bought this! So Happy!

Developed by Ausie studio just before they shut them down.
Nice! That must be a powerful vibrator to require such a large battery.
Foolz, he who dares to say what lesser men think.
I was slightly disappointed to discover that "anatomy of a tabloid Fortnite front page story" was not about cheap games website articles cashing in on cheap FTP games during their fifteen minutes of cheap fame.
I was happily surprised to see something resembling actual journalism when I raid said article.
Enjoy your last month of free Switch online games.
Muahahahaha!
Yes, gameS. All 2 of them: Mario Kart and Splatoon 2.
I think they nerfed most of them to make the game more balanced, which in the end just made everything a machine guns fest.
The point of the overpowered specials from the first game were that they somewhat compensated for the short comings in whatever non-machine guns weapon you chose.
Splashdowns aren't bad. What is annoying is when someone triggers one a half second before you do and you die and they don't. They updated the game a while back to add some invunerabilty to the user which is cheap. Sometimes I unleash a fully powered gatling at them and they don't die.
The article is fully deserving of credit in and of itself (although getting a co-worker to pose as Jesse and going all the way with the fabricated story would have been even better, as would finding out how much Mr. Barbour wanted to answer their questions), I just personally would have found the other subject more interesting, and that was my expectation when I clicked the link.
Also, unlike most instances of games journalism, it wasn't 10 times longer than it should have been. (Y)
In short: what I got was still good, but I was expecting even better (which was my own fault).
Well, I know two people who will be on the losing side of this purchase. The two of you when I review it on the Game Under Podcast.
I found the fact that Brat from EG had named the 2 people in his confession Jessie and James incredibly funny. Even more so because this Matthew rang absolutely no bell with this Matthew fellow when they went to play Pokemon Go with their cat.
Either this is something I should be looking forward to (when do you arrive in Melbourne?), or will turn out to be a tremendous disappointment.
Agreed. That's why I wanted him to go all the way with the phone call; the comedic potential is endless.
I've been wanting to buy Catherine to play BC on my Xbone. For some reason this game is hard to come by and pretty expensive. Cheapest I can find it is about €40 inclusing shiping, and that's for a used copy in Italian. I guess I could get it as a digital copy, but hell no am I paying €20 for a download of a niche last gen game.
Only if you admit that Tentamissiles are ok.
No heathen.
I have played over 820 hrs of Splatoon 2.
Half of that was spent dodging tentamissile spam.
Went and saw Testament and Anthrax last night in Providence. Nothing like two legendary, still-awesome old school thrash metal bands together. Testament is my favorite of the two, but they both put on an incredible show. Anthrax was the headliner, and they closed the show with a cover of Pantera's "Cowboys From Hell". The place went apeshit. I'm a little hurting today...can't recover from a night out of drinking as fast as I used to. But damn was it worth it.
My son is playing Family Ski & Snowboard on the Wii as I'm writing this. Now that's a game that could shine with a new installment on the Switch. The motion controls are still there, and being set on a huge mountain with lots of people and large draw distance, the game could really benefit from a higher resolution. Man, those games were fun and relaxing...
