GOD OF WARRR!!!!
I reckon that the rights to those games were tied to the previous consoles so they can't just easily come across to new systems. Plus I'm guessing the earnings from them wasn't enough to continue with them.
That's all well and good, but, fuck that shit! I want my classics!
Looking fucking good. I have a family situation now where playing a M rated game would be impossible. I guess I’ll wait until summer to get it.
Let’s have a vgpress gaming night. Maybe next weekend?
Unless you can play god of war with me, no thanks.
SEGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shenmue 1 and 2 HD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mega Drive Mini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I could say the Sega Mini Drive was exciting, but since Sega has been rereleasing Genesis games on a weekly basis since the Dreamcast came out it's hard to say this is even slightly interesting.
I'll likely buy one, as I've enjoyed my SNES Classic, and I like the novelty. But only if Sega makes it themselves; no AtGames junk, please.
I'm more excited for the Genesis 50 pack coming out for PS4 and whatnot. Kind of defeats the purpose of a mini. I also have like every great Mega Drive game right on my PC so, yeah.
I just went to Amazon to pre-order God of War, and it's not even available right now. Fuckin' a....this game is going to be big.
Don't mean this in a dickish way (I personally loved all five God of War games I played) but what's different about this new one now than when it fell so completely out of favour in the eyes' of the gaming community?

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
I didn't realize that it HAD fallen out of favor?
Personally I lost a bit of interest in it in recent years just because the formula seemed stale after like 5 games. I haven't been following everything about this new game, but to me the change in direction to a more adventure style game has this as my most wanted game in the series since GOW 2. If it was just like the last five games, I wouldn't even be getting it. Unless it was $20.
OK so I said it "fell out of favour" you said you "lost interest". Same difference.
Like I said before ... it was an actual question, not a rhetorical one. I haven't been following its development or read all the reviews. What's different about it?

I know with the change in setting from Greek to Norse mythology they also changed the game to focus more on exploration.
The Greek Mythology games were hack and slash type games with smaller environments and a fixed camera.
The new game is more open with an over the shoulder camera and more focus on exploration.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
I'll be able to tell what's different about it once I can actually play through the game.
Oh shit, Shenmue Collection is real! I thought Vader was just fantasizing. Will pre-order.
God of War back in stock at Amazon, nice.
