Nintendo direct in 1 and a half hours. I will be in bed playing Skyrim.
Speaking of which, I find this game to better demonstrate the Switch hybrids form factor over BOTW.
It's such a large, rich and content stacked game - the continuity of play using Switch really exemplifies the benefits of this system. I'm playing it docked, then offscreen, I go up to the toilet and I'm still playing. I walk back downstairs I'm still playing. Eventually I walk up to bed and I'm still playing.
And I realise that I've probably played about 5 hours straight, in an unbroken play session I could never match with any other system. I put the system to sleep, I wake up and the sleep mode starts me at the exact point I left off at in an instant.
No love for Sushi Strikers?
I need a new Animal Crossing.
She's smiling so wide because she's sitting on one of Lapras' spikes.
How about a new Luigi's Mansion? Or my prime request for over a decade now: a new F-zero and 1080° (like the first one, not the sucky Avalanche)
15 mins left.
I'm going to bed.
PEGI 18? They're defo going to show Pokémon
Original Luigi's Mansion Remake for 3DS. This is not the LM I was looking for
Also, watching Detective Pikachu attempt a quick dash
They should so have had Robert Deniro voice him. Pikachu even sounds like him.
Okami HD. Sushi Strikers actually looks like some good, daft, fun.
Octopath traveler releasing 1th of June, killer limited edition, which Belgium will probably get 2 pieces of.
Dark Souls releases on May 25th, timed demo before, and 'praise the sun' amiibo.
Mario Tennis getting even more gimmicky. If you need a 5 minute explanation of how it works, it's too complicated.
Pre-launch tournament coming up ahead of June 22th release.
Most boring game ever, Captain Toad's Treasure Trackers coming to Switch with extra levels, and 3DS too. This game should have been on 3DS to begin with.
Undertale coming to Switch, eventually.
Crash Bandicoot releasing on Switch on July 10th.
LITTLE NIGHTMARES! WHOOPWHOOP. Insta-buy for me. All DLC included. May 18th.
South park, The Fractured Hole too.
Splatoon update brings 100 new pieces of gear, new stages and new X rank above S.
but the biggest Splatoon news is definitely... playable Octolings! Oh, and they seem to come with a new single player campaign too. It's DLC though. 80 'chambers' to play through in order to unlock the Octolings for online play. Releases this summer.
SMash bros announcement. Releases this year.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Meh direct. Smash may just be an updated port but I'm still very excited for it. Splatoon expansion looks great. Luigis mansion on 3ds, I finally get to play it. Rest is whatever.
I’m definitely onboard for Smash Bros. on the Switch whether it’s a new game or a port of the Wii U version.
I may also get the Switch version of Okami HD and who could blame me after all it is the greatest game of all time and is perfectly paced throughout.
You have to wonder how Nintendo will keep up supplying its next console with releases though, when it doesn't make sense to port all the Switch exclusives because they sold well when they first hit the market, and there's no additional value of them being portable like you have now with Switch.
So what the fuck is going on with PSN lately? For the past few weeks I keep getting new followers out the ass...people I don't know and don't want bothering me with dumb ass notifications. Never ever had this issue before. Seriously annoying.
I had zero expectations for the direct, but reading the announcements so far - I'm not even finished, wtf?
So much stuff. Wonder what will be at E3?
