I'd assume that they got it working but couldn't optimize it in time for launch. God knows that the game's netcode isn't as performant as that of the original. That or Nintendo decided they wanted to lock voice chat behind a paywall.

You should get the Splatoon2 bundle. Having read your posts over the last couple of years, I'm convinced you'd love it.
I don't get why some of you guys are complaining about the writing. It's the same as its always been. If you can do better, direct your own goddamn show. Only thing I've noticed is they're skipping huge chunks of downtime because they're trying to cram all the good stuff into two seasons.
The Walking Dead could learn from this.

I'd get both. Then you can get an extra copy of Splatoon2, and play LAN mode and enjoy the elusive benefits of having native voice chat in Splatoon2 while you're sat in the same room.
I dunno about Rabbids. Looks kinda weird.It's not the same at all. There is no depth to the motivations, time does not matter anymore everyone just teleports all over the world. Storylines come and go with dumb reasons. It's become a summer movie when it used to be a political drama.
Destiny 2 on PC is the real deal. Massive improvement over console versions. The high frame rate makes the controls better, even on a controller.
Now I haven't watched any of the series, but did this change perhaps come to the fore when the show overtook the books?
Also, please, no spoilers. I'm still patiently wating for the next book 'Winds of Winter' to release in 2032.

More likely, yes. I believe the creators just have an outline of what's going to happen but not much dialogue to go on.
I get what you're saying. They're all over the place. But again, I prefer this to episodes of filler like half of every walking dead season since year two.
I don't know why they seem so intent on ending it in two short seasons, you'd think the show makes enough money for them to milk it as long as possible. But whatever. It's still the best show on tv.
