Okay I think I'm giving Vanillaware their third strike as I play through Odinsphere. It's not a bad game, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to go all the way through to the end. The graphics are gorgeous and the fighting system is pretty decent, but they get weighed down by a weak story, bad characters, and some god awful voice acting. Really makes it tough to enjoy the good parts of game when all that combat get sandwiched between long blocks of bad story and squeaky voices.
The Evil Within 2 Not Directed By Shinji Mikami
Okay not too big of a deal. The new director handled the DLC segements of the original (both were very good), and as it is the game already has its direction and template to build off of. Shouldn't be too hard to at least make it just as good as the original.
Tried some Star Fox this weekend. I can tell that it's going to be much the same as Kid Icarus was for me on the 3DS, a game with its moments and which had potential but was made disappointing with some awkward control mechanics.
Hey. Uhh things are happening in my life. I went on a date, things seem to be going well with this chick I used to work with. I'm still afraid I'll screw this up.
A super for gaming, in finishing DKCTF, not as good as the first. I watched tons of Mario footage, part of it seems genius the other seems like all the bad stuff from BOTW all over again. Please don't make a big game with tons of repetition.
Aren't you you possibly moving too? Best of luck with the relationship.
Hey, I'll be in Florida tomorrow, the panhandle though. I guess Robio will be the closest though still several hours away. I'm in Auburn now, checked out the university which is quite beautiful.
Got a PS4 for father's day, it came with a few games. Only played Horizon so far. It's great looking especially in HDR mode. I'm downloading Uncharted 4.
Exactly. The og XBOX had a much better lineup.
Fuckin a....finally!
This made me squirt.
What baffles me about ARMS is how it's launching a month before Splatoon. These both seem like games that could really devour all of your gaming time, yet they're basicaly telling ARMS to move over only a month after its release.
Yeah, I know those kinds of games. I'll start a losing streak, play it for 2 hours straight with my mood worsening with every loss.![angry angry](http://www.thevgpress.com/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/angry_smile.png)
That's kind of why I was banned from playing Splatoon for a while.
It's not too bad. I'm currently working on my Pro4, floating on a XL toucan pool float, feet in the water, listening to 'Son of a preacher man by Dusty Springfield.![yes yes](http://www.thevgpress.com/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/thumbs_up.png)
Yeah, actually this is true. The AI was creaming me on level 4, and I just had to keep playing till I secured a win. Just like Splatoon LOL.
My cool gel sleep pad arrived this morning. Hopefully I can get some sleep, it says it has been tested and keeps you 2-3 Celcius cooler compared to without it.
No air conditioning GG? I hope you get sleep. So you would say arms single player is good?
I must say I'm still contemplating getting ARMS. Once I got the hang of it it was a fun experience, and my son absolutely loved it. What's stopping me is that the wife veto'd it, although that's nothing more than a nuissance, and that I'm guessing it won't get a lot of playtime because Splatoon is only a month away, and I know I'm going to get addicted to that.
Out of what? 8 retail games released so far?
