If you're referring to the joycons, it is kind of confusing. Every game will ask you to press the triggers at some point so it can register if you're using the 2 as one controller or seperately as 2. Untill that happens you're stuck navigating the UI with your last setup.
That is not cool.
First page at gaf seems to hate the new Monster Hunter worlds game?

Is this something only MH fans can understand?
There are lots of Neo geo games on there.
You just described modern gaming.
Nintendo are doing some interesting stuff regarding online. So in Splatoon 2 you will respawn more quickly if you keep dying. In Arms, if you are too good in party mode then the game will handicap you for instance with a lower life bar. I'm half half on whether this is a good thing or not.
I think it's because the game/system thinks you are using both joycons separately as individual controllers. So if you want to go back into using both as ONE controller you have to go to settings>controllers and just hold both as normal and click the shoulder buttons. Takes 2 seconds. It can be confusing sometimes because it assumes you are using one joycon horizontally to navigate the menu until you click it back.
I can sympathise with some of the points made there. MH is about standing your ground against dragons, knowing when to block and when to lash out, not being chased by one and using environmental setpieces to your advantage. Monsters would attack eachother in Tri as well though, not sure why that seems to be an issue over at NeoGaf. Personally I feel that there was too little information to jump to some of the conclusions made there. It makes sense to go for a more dynamic approach if you're investing in making one large open area. I liked the concept of the hookshot, the chases, not so much.
Can we just for a moment appreciate what complete shits' Capcom have been towards Nintendo lately?
Old SF2 game sold for twice the price on Switch.
8bit games like Disney Afternoon Collection skipping Nintendo platforms even though they are perfect in relation to old platforms, demographics etc
RE Revelaitons sells well on 3DS, sequel comes to everything but Nintendo.
Janky looking 3DS port of Monster Hunter comes to Switch - full production value one comes to everything but Switch. Capcom should just get a toilet roll, smear shit all over it and use its picture whenever someone asks a question about their Nintendo offerings.
I'm still waiting on my full 3D Phoenix Wright Adventure game.
Here's how Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle happened
In 2002, Davide Soliani had discovered that Shigeru Miyamoto, legendary Nintendo games designer, was in his home town of Milan.
He spent days calling around hotels to find out where Mr Miyamoto was staying. When he finally discovered it, Davide camped outside the hotel in the rain for 10 hours to meet him.
12 years later, in 2014, Soliani would meet Miyamoto again. Only this time, he is the creative director at Ubisoft Milan
Stalker?
At 4 minutes 15 secs in the video he is there crying emotionally in the crowd.
Dream moment for him. Kinda nice.
So GAF seems to think Mario Kingdom Battle looks amazing.
I don't know what's happening anymore my gaming barometer is so far off at this point. Nice to know it uses Snowdrop, same as Starlink on Switch. Sets Ubi up for continuing support for Switch. Unlike EA, who haven't ported Frostbite and obviously have no intention of doing anything other than token games.
No platforms for BGE2? Guess that LKD and Destructoid rumour about it being Switch exclusive was BS.
So, is this the last conference of E3?
Nintendo E3 2017 conference times - Tuesday June 13
I must say, I am very happy that Monster Hunter World is making its way to the Xbox One.
Why did they have to go for the M Rating. That caused me to lose interest. Almost everything Ubisoft makes nowadays has to have multiple uses of the F word. I'm not that big on swearing, I don't mind when people swear I hardly ever do. But it gets repetitive if almost every single word out of the characters mouth is a swear word.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
I turned it off halfway through. I'm not interested in CGI trailers these days. Show me realtime or just get lost.
Nintendo spotlight in 5 mins, get in the thread. Oh wait no one is online.
I honestly couldn't care less. The other platforms are where it's at for 3rd-party, including Capcom.
You should care, because the next great 3DS game Capcom release will be getting a PS4 sequel
EDIT:

This Vampire RPG from the Life is Strange guys looks like it will at least somewhat fill the void in my soul for a new Kain. Looks good.
That Metroid 3ds game looks awesome too. Why can't they also put it on the Switch or the Wii U?
Mario Odyssey is my game of E3. Too bad the rest of Nintendo's conference was mediocre. ....
Wait! Metroid Prime is coming? But all we saw as the title?
I don't care! Bring it to me!
Just make a new RPG for the Switch. Geez.
That 3ds metroid should be on switch I think it's clear now that Nintendo want to keep 3ds alive. It has a 60 million install base and was the only platform with actual growth last year.
