I'd like to know if the person who translated added the bit in brackets, because without that context it still sounds like what we thought. SF2 sells or bust.That was debunked ages ago. It was a thing, then never went anywhere. Assuming you are talking about KOTOR?
Well, that sucks. At least you can count on the indie studio who is doing the KOTOR HD version. They already did KOTOR 2 with widescreen, gamepad, and achievement support on Steam.
Yeah I think they're just saying this to try and push sales.

Always nice to see more people able to enjoy such an awesome game like Vanquish. I just hope that this paves the way for Bayonetta 3 and Vanquish 2. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a remaster of either of those games for current gen consoles either.

Just so we're being responsible and avoiding "fake news," it turns out this is not true. It was just a translation error, and the NeoGaf thread has been updated. It was more along the lines of "we'll figure out what to do with the Switch as time goes on."
That makes more sense.

Are you kidding? So this shit was announced at like the first PS4 E3 show and there's a good chance they won't even end up being PS4 titles. In 3 years the PS5 will be out...or at least I hope it is. Don't let this gen go as long as the last one did. I bet Resident Evil 2 is in the same boat.
This is why Square is a joke complaining about the Eidos branch....Square takes forever to make a worthwhile game these days while the Eidos studios pump them out regularly. How much money did they sink into FF15's 10 year development, or into FF7 remake? But we don't hear a peep on that. But damn Deus Ex and Hitman for not selling 20 million copies.

At the very least, Square does have the Final Fantasy 12 port coming to PS4 next month. That was a great game...I put well over 100 hours into that back in 2006. It's also a late gen PS2 title that will really benefit from the HD upgrade. If I remember right, I actually played it on the PS3 since they came out right around the same time.

You know, it was only a couple weeks ago that some rumors were flying that the PS5 would come out in 2018. Kind of feels like it is jumping the gun, but if Scorpio ends up being very successful Sony might feel pressured to do so in response. Particularly now that the Switch has really started to dominate sales in Japan.
