So now I am at my relatives house and have the grip back the left joycon issue hasn't happened at all.
I disconnected the controllers from the system settings and turned off and resynched as seen in a video. I also altered the cloth I put inside the dock which may have been blocking the system.
Like I said in my review the joycon issue only happens when you play with the joycons wirelessly and with no grip or joycon strap attached. I realised today that that means games like Arms with motion control where you are gripping the joycon almost completely might wig out because of interference.
It also means tabletop mode is somewhat neutered for single players (unless you bring the joycon straps with you)
If it occurs again I may very well send the into Nintendo to be fixed.
I have been slowly, night by night impressed by taking Zelda up to bed every night. Played it on the toilet today too. I also did some visual comparisons today between playing it on a 1080p tv with the resolution set correctly vs handheld and it's definitely crisper and slightly more detailed on the tv. But it is smoother overall on the switch screen and the screen is so good and the right size I never really miss the tv too much.
I also caved and bought Snipperclips. Great so far. Although it seems to only have a lone, single music track that repeats endlessly.
I won't be able to get this out of my head for days.
Nintendo NST co-developed, it's very high quality and perfect for multiplayer, but also great for single player too.
We lucked out today.
We were suppose to be getting a few inches of snow because we were in between two different snow storms.
We got nothing; my nephew's school called last night and cancelled classes for today because they expected to get a lot of snow and the last time it snowed really bad parents complained that the school was still open.
They were supposed to be off this Friday but now they have class because it is a make up day for missing today.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Why Nintendo Switch games are ending up more expensive
So this is a disaster.
Protect Your Nintendo Switch's Screen With These Fetching Dock Covers
Covers the inside to protect your screen.
I made a cheaper better solution myself. If you own or know someone who wears glasses, get the cleaning cloth - a smooth one. Cut it to size and then just use 4 small blobs of bluetack to stick it to the inside of the dock wall. It's invisible and works great.
I bought myself a screen protecor. Works superb, cost me near to nothing
Swith crashed on me the other night. I had left it docked, and when I woke it from sleep mode it freezed up on me. Pressed the power button untill the quickmenu popped up, but that didn't work either. Pressed it some more and the thing shut down. No issues after that.
The last game I can remember freezing up on me on a Nintendo console was Rogue Leader back when the GCN launched.

Switch games will cost more and probably be worse than the cheaper better versions?! Wow ok.
Not for the graphics level indie games are aiming for - they are talking about. Also Switch versions are portable.
The main issue being that Nintendo policy is that eshop cannot be priced lower than retail. And I guess cart sizes will have higher prices. But that doesn't explain all the accersory price gourging. Everything is more expensive now.
Wii U locked up plently first year mine froze regularly, actually so did my Wii. Also if you are pressing the 'power button' and the quick menu shows up that means you are actually pressing the home button on the joycons. Try the power button on the tablet unit itself.
I don't like them, they make the touch screen less responsive. I always keep my screens in good condition. Never put my phone in the same pocket as keys, coins etc.
GG, I pressed the power button after it froze, and the quickmenu showed up. I have been playing videogames for over 3 decades, I think it'd be safe to assume I have my terminology down by now.
I don't like them either, this is the first time I've ever used one. I only bought it since my sons will probably start lugging it around sooner or later.
This is all hyperbole if you're asking me. PS online games used to be more expensive than physical copies, just to give another example. I remember PS3 and X360 games costing as much if not more than Switch games, but back then nobody seemed to mind, nor rejoice over the fact that you could pick up brand new 1st party games at 2/3s the cost of a PS3 game.
Also, don't forget you're not only paying for the carts, you're paying for the security of knowing that your sibblings and/or dogs won't be chewing them up.
That still seems to be the case for a lot of the older PS4 titles. New retail copies of Street Fighter V are almost never more than $20, but the PSN store has it for $40.
I really don't get all this hubbub about how expensive the Switch is. The only thing I perceive to be expensive is the home console itself, although once you're using the thing and notice how well built it is and how cool it is to be playing home console games on the go, even that fades away. The accessories themselves are expensive, but show me one console that didn't overcharge for them. Ok, the pro pad is a bit more expensive than other official pads, but it's also completely optional and more advanced than that of the competition. I kind of want one, so I'll wait for my birthday and ask it as a present. That doesn't mean that I can't enjoy the Switch in the meantime though.
Also, very cool to see Blizzard actually seriously considering putting Overwatch on Switch. Makes a nice change from devs just laughing away the prospect.
It's got its hooks in you now, there is no escape. Your posts on the game have been putting me into relapse as well and now I feel compelled to buy the DLC and return to the game too. Thanks a lot!
