Switch Battery Test - it beats almost everything
Here are the full results:
Unless I'm mistaken the top 3 performers didn't even have backlights.
And Switch's hardware is far more powerful than most, if not all on that list.
They weren't running software though on any of the machines - except the ones without operating systems. It was a pure battery stamina test, with wireless on.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Yeah GG these didn't have a backlight.
Gameboy Advance SP was the first handheld with a backlight.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
What happened here:
They stuffed in some mega battery into the last model of 3DS?
They used one of these Battery packs into the New 3DS XL
This is from the XL
This is for a normal 3DS it still offers 26 hours of battery life with the brightness on 3.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
So anyone remember Gameseek? The UK website that sold Switch pre-orders for £200 and then promised to hold up the deal?
As a PR stunt they later said that would have more at that price and you would get it before launch day. All you had to do was sign up to the site and subscribe to their emails. You would get a stock alert when it was availible to order again at £200. That was ages ago.
So we are about 2 days away from Switch launch and so far all I have received is bullshit marketing emails and the company is in radio silence with no sign of these mythical £200 switch launch stock.
Thinking back on it, I pre-ordered another console with them once on a deal for launch only for thm to renege on it and say they had no stock.
Is Mugen some sort of Dragonball reference?
Not that I know of but Mugen is a fighting game where players can put any character into that game.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Switch confirmed
I'm still considering it myself as well.
Watched the indie showcase, dang that's a lot of new games.
A lot of them had exclusive features or content or were outright - or timed exclusives/console exclusives.
Shakedown Hawaii and Flipping Death look great to me.
Sooooooooooooooo

More than 60 quality indie games are confirmed for Nintendo Switch this year alone, and many games take advantage of unique Nintendo Switch features, including multiple play modes (TV mode, handheld mode, tabletop mode), flexible control options, local and online multiplayer* and innovative JoyCon functionality like HD rumble. In a Nindies Showcase video, Nintendo highlighted some of these games that are in development.
“Our Nindies Showcase gives fans a taste of some of the great content on its way to Nintendo eShop,” said Steve Singer, Nintendo of America’s Vice President of Publisher and Developer Relations. “We’re working with both mainstream and independent developers to make Nintendo Switch the destination for entertaining games and experiences.”

To access Nintendo eShop, a system update that will be available on launch day is required. The system update downloads in the background, is designed to install quickly and doesn’t disrupt gameplay.
After visiting Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch for the first time, gamers can also purchase Nintendo Switch digital games on Nintendo.com. Users can purchase the games on Nintendo’s website and have them download automatically to their Nintendo Switch system at home or on the go, wherever there is a Wi-Fi connection.
Nintendo Switch launches March 3 at a suggested retail price of $299.99. For more information about the new system, visit http://www.nintendo.com/switch.
* Online services require a Nintendo Account. Starting this fall, some online services will also require a paid subscription. Paid online service availability may be limited based on location.

Yeah, I wouldn't be too excited for Flipping Death. I played their previous work, Stick it to the Man. The graphical style was nice, and the story was entertaining enough, but the gameplay itself was a repetitive bore.
