That Wargroove game is such a blatant Advance Wars ripoff. Seriously, it's just a palette swap, ditching the military theme for a fantasy/medieval setting. I mean just look at it:
Of course, if it's only half as good as Advance Wars, I'll be all over this, but still.
That is awesome...I think they're doing the entire franchise. They did a great job on Turok 1 last year but that game really shows it's age and feels pretty dated. T2 was much better so I'm really looking forward to this one.
I'm starting to really get pumped for Yooka Laylee. I totally loved the games these guys did in the N64 days and you just don't see stuff like this anymore....hell you only saw stuff like this from Rare in the first place. This brand of epic platformer has been sorely missed. I think it's really going to take me back and put a smile on my fuckin face. It's really amazing what these guys have done with a small budget. And it blows my mind that they had to leave Rare just to create the kind of game they were known for in the first place.
Speaking of Rare, it's sad that they've let Perfect Dark die. No new game in 12 years. That was a great, great franchise. Microsoft should have given it to somebody else to work on if Rare didn't have the guys to do it anymore. There's plenty of developers who could have done amazing shit with that franchise. What a waste. And Nintendo with Metroid...don't get me going.
Vader, I played some of that fan remake of Metroid 2. You were right it's badass. The music is amazing.

I read it.
I always figured with the way they were pumping out games every year that Eidos were being dicks and the whole thing was going to backfire. Really, Tomb Raider was the original series to just get milked to all hell. It was doing it a decade before Ass Creed and COD. Only Core was doing it by themselves with no outside help.
They also didn't have the talent to take it to the next level. I didn't know they had a remake of the original in the works....that video of it looked better than Angel of Darkness but still nowhere near what Crystal Dynamics did. You can see it still is using all the old PS1 controls and animations compared to the fluid play of CD's games. And Toby Gard...I kind of feel bad for him but at the same time he's an idiot. He literally walked out just as they were starting to make millions. If he would have stayed he would have made enough money to do whatever he wanted.
Eidos ran Core into the ground, but Core itself basically blew their load on Tomb Raider anyway. That was the best they were ever going to do.
Good read.
Fucking Miller....of COURSE he finds my biggest celebrity crush over the past five years to interview....probably trying to sniff some coochy. lol

Ack, sometimes I wonder why I bother commenting on EG articles. There's this article about the Switch Pro controller working on PC, in which the author mentions how the WiiU pro controller isn't compatible with the Switch, and all of a sudden you get all these comments about how it's a disgrace that the WiiU Pro pad doesn't work with the Switch. Idiots, it's not like you can use PS3 pads on PS4, or X360 pads on Xbone. Seriously, i never even considered this as an option, and somehow the replies in that thread make it seem as if Nintendo is evil for not allowing it. Well, at least more evil than Sony and MS.

Week switch sounds good. I forget there is even a console launch tomorrow night. To me it's just some extra thing that comes with zelda.

fucking gameseek are saying they have switchs in stock for £200 but they aren't avalible to buy yet.
They have 30 of them and all you can do is add it to your wishlist. I randomly checked the site while taking a crap near midnight here.
So, who's going to take one for the team and lick their Zelda cart tomorrow?
