Oh. Well yeah. Confucius was a fucking pussy.
I'd argue that the things we want are usually priced just low enough that we can cave in without too much remorse. The things we need are often much more expensive.

You guys tried 100% Natural Latex mattresses?
Nintendo hosting 5 hours private hands-on for Switch in New York Jan 13th.
I stumbled upon the Nintendo store in NYC.
Didn't intend to go there, was just walking to Rockerfeller Plaza and it was there. I don't know if it's THE store or just A store. It was empty but it was early morning. Had a lot of cool, but sadly overpriced shit. Took some pics:

No. Are they comfortable?
They're like a foam mattress without the burning, searing hellfire heat. Pretty good, get a cotton mattress protector. They have instand reflex reaction, pushes back a little. They're good, but you need one at least 20cm thick.
You have to choose between the softer less durable Talay latex and the other more durable kind. You have to be careful what you buy, make sure it's 100% natural latex. There are some other phrases bandied about like Pure Latex or 100% Latex etc but the actual composition is usually a mix of synthetic and natural.
They make a synthetic version but natural latex is tapped from trees in South East Asia, a little from each tree. Which is why it can be expensive, but you can find cheaper deals around. They take the liquid latex, put it in a mold and bake it till it sets like a quiche. They can last for 20 years plus. I saw a youtube video of someone opening one made in the 50s and it was still good.
The natural mattresses need to breathe so you can only use them with slatted bed frames, not flat ones. And you need to flip it every now and then.
We bought a pair of 50% latex mattresses about half a year ago. We tested some 100% natural latex ones, but they were too soft to our liking. So far we're very happy with them. Save for when, in a flash of clarity, I remember how much we paid for them.
Too soft is not good for doggystyle.
Sex in bed is so pedestrian.
Time magazine finally picked the correct GOTY. Good for them, they still suck though.
