Oh yeah and when Sven left I immediately had flashbacks of a very bad group I had in MH3U. We had one strong guy who took me and 2 newbs even weaker than me to fight the Lagriacrus. We were doing well with him in the lead, and then he announced he was taking off leaving the three of us to fend for ourselves. It didn't end well. Had I known what we were hunting without this guy, I would have probably thought twice, but I didn't remember the monster's name and figured it would just be some Level 1 quest so I accepted it without even reading the description.
Online in MH is a horrible mess. Why they don't allow for bigger gathering halls is beyond me. Even just finding the online in this game is a challenge.
As for armour sets, I never cared for matched sets. No potential for aesthetical expression. In MH3 I did everything I could to get as much wind resistance as I could and I ended up running around like a potbellied rainbow. Just give me enough slots and I'm happy. Of course, some people did refuse to take me with them on high ranked quests because I didn't look badass enough to their liking.
Stop rubbing it in. I blame the movers (of a certain extraction).
Yeah... Losers (fist bump).
As with all Telltale, waiting for the full episodic release.
I think what kills me more about the online is the frame rate. I felt like I was using an old flip book that had a lot of pages stuck together and was really hard to flip in the first place.
Do you play with the 3D enabled or disabled? I didn't mind the choppy framerate too much. Framerates have to drop considerably before I seem to notice anything.
Could NX Virtual Console Run Wii/GameCube Games? Digital Foundry analysis -
They used Dolphin on Shield Android which has a stock X1 Tegra. They could run Gamecube games at 1080p 30FPS well. 60FPS Gamecube games struggled though at that resolution. In original resolution it worked.
So, on Splatoon, how do I play the Anchor v games stage? I have been using the Dual Squelcher a lot lately and enjoying it. I can shoot people from a distance, make lots of kills and ink a fair bit. On this stage I stay in an elevated position and I can hold my corner rather well. Then near the end of the match I look at my map and wtf, we're losing badly. If I dive down into the central area I'm more vunerable, especially in close quarters combat.
I feel like it's like a race to the central area to do anything worthwhile.
NX
X1 is rated at 10w but in most tests it shows a sub 5w power draw.

10w is the peak.
And if it's using a Pascal based tegra it will be even more power efficient
I read the article and couldn't help but wonder if being able to emulate 10 year old games was really a worthwile benchmark to aim for.
I haven't played Splatoon in ages, but I had a good strategy with my .52Gal the few times I played Ancho V: When the game start I'd hurry to the bottom of the ramp at the opposing teams spawnpoint. I could litterally fend off a whole team on my own there. You have a clear shot at whoever just spawned, can hide from fire fairly well, and whenever there'd be too many of them spawning at once I'd deploy my killer whail, which is just wide enough to cover the whole ramp.
Yes play whatever level you like, lots of replay value with the medals and ranks.
At 1080p on a mobile chip on a generic OS with no custom game code. Emulation takes a lot sometimes.
You were always a Spla-Douche.
Do you have to read a guide to see how to get to all these secret levels? Or does the game push you there?
The secret levels the game basically tells you there are secrets now in certain levels. The medals though, screw it I use a guide.
What's the point of medals?
Just played the Yooka Laylee demo and holy fuck is this going to be awesome. Its fucking Banjo & Kazooie 3 on modern hardware. Oozing charm and style.
You unlock challenge missions.
Lots of reviews are up.
