HAHA at least the Xbone does one thing better.
Been debating doing this myself, but even if you factor in depreciation I've got at least $500 of digital games tied to my Wii U. Probably $700 if you could Wii shop and WiiWare. I'm reasonably confident that NIntendo will carry over a lot of these games to the NX, but until they confirm it I'm going to hold onto it. And if nothing else I'm still going to need to play through Tokyo Mirage.
And throw your credit card to some random dude on the street. That's the Gold Tier.
Seriously, the Playstation 4's online is so fucking stupid. I would actually rather have Nintendo's shit online than this.
Yes, PSN's garbage online is better than shit, but I have to actually pay for it, I don't have to pay for shit.
Steam is the best by infinite space and it is completely free. I can't believe people have been brain washed console owners have been talked into paying for online gameplay.

I've never had a problem with PS4 online at all. I've never had a problem with the Wii U online either, but that's probably because I've never played an online game on it.
Bahahaha Wii U online.
Steam is the best, but Steam is also a PC service and let's face it, most people don't want to deal with the PC. I know people who can barely set up a modern game console, nevermind a PC.
This is an unfortunate reality. In the fighting game community everyone uses consoles to play games. PCs are a HUGE no-no. This is mostly because most are still stuck with the mindset of the '90s that PCs require tons of drivers and are filled with viruses. Even if the PC version is significantly better such as Street Fighter V (significantly less input lag) or Skullgirls (1080p mode on the PS4 so bad that the tourney standard is 720p) they still use the console. When they do bring their laptops over, you can just tell they don't take care of them at all. How anyone manages to get a virus in 2016 is beyond me.
It's only marginally worse than the PS4's online.

Wtf are you people talking about. What's wrong with PSN?
Mankind. Come on edge.
You're a bad man.
Just completed the Resident Evil 7 demo. I mean I can appreciate them doing something different, but it just isn't that good.
Connecting to another player's game is a hassle. Chating with other players is retarded as I have to leave the game screen to have a conversation (not sure how voice chat is). No community or groups to join or create. And on top of all this I have to pay for it (wtf!?). And this is just from my 2 day experience with it.

No, he's Dude Love.
I've only really played Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. online on the Wii U. MK8 was great and Smash was good but could be laggy. My experience with Xbox Live has been really good and I play a lot of games online there. My experience with online on the PS3 was good but there were some annoyances. I'd rank it in between Nintendo and Microsoft. MS announced some really cool features for their online service at this year's E3 that should really help further improve it.
I will say one thing about Nintendo, they make some damn good netcode for their games. They have come a long way since Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Splatoon has the best netcode I've encountered in a shooter.

Wow. Brexit is a fact. Can't believe the fearmongerers actually won.
I believe Ive jumped right into someone else's game who was playing co-op or had an open slot. PSN has tons of communities to join. I'm a part of the GAF chat community. Chatting by text is a hassle but voice chat is great. You can choose to create chat groups and talk to them at any time. I even use my phone app to chat when I'm away from the PS4. I think of PS+. As a way to get two games a month for just $50 a year. Ive gotten a lot of great games a month like The Wolf Among Us, Metal Gear: GZ, and Rocket League. That alone is worth the price. But I also play a ton of multiplayer, especially now during the summer.
