Nintendo is killing it this E3. While compared to expectations.
One of the site's forefathers.
GG wins E3 with great updates.
Nice.
That must be why they pushed the NX back to 2017!
Seems like Shantae Half Genie Hero is ditching pixel art for polygons in a 2.5D style.
The pixels were a large part of the charm. Charm is always lost when transferring to 3D.
Ummm... this is what it looks like. I think it's gonna be just fine...
I watched the trailer GG just put up on the newswall and I wasn't impressed. One hugely detailed boss isn't going to change that. And I'm sure she could have been better animated if drawn in sprites.
That Hyrule alphabet translation is pretty sweet. Love the idea that everything in the dungeons is powered by some kind of coding language. Begs the question why the Sheikah felt the need to hide away stuff in dungeons of their own design? Ganondorf apocalyps!
Errr... wut...?

Ehh... It'll do I suppose.
It looks nice, but just a bit 'off' to me. Possibly something about the parallax scrolling that grates with me or perhaps it's just me being nostalgic.
Trust me. I'll always look for great pixel art games myself, but that game doesn't look bad by any means...
Go to YouTube and watch it in a bigger window if you must.
Consider yoursel trusted.
Should said game visually disappoint, I will know where to find you...
I really can't stand that suit.
Looks sweet, but that move must be borrowed from gravity rush. Spidey speeds up mid-jump to break through the window.
I was just re-reading your Zelda recap inf on GAF. I already read it in our forum, but wanted to go in depth. I love that a lot of the mechanics were used in past zelda games, but usually in dungeons and they've just gone to town with everything. Sounds like the open world is going to be like a massive playground.
She's also a lesbian BTW.
Who the heck at Naughty America is watching British gaming TV programmes?
^ Yeah, she relies a bit too much on an air of sexual availability to my liking. Ellie Gibson, their former premier female contributor was genuinely funny and could probably drink everyone else of the EG staff under the table. Aiofe gives off more of a vibe as if she'd give everyone a blowjob under the table. She's easy on the eye, but I'm no fan of hers.
Along with Splatoon and the staff changes, Miyamoto stepping back etc. It really sounds like Nintendo is going through a process of moving towards a new generation of developers. Exciting times because they still got the old masters on hand to help.
I hate Ellie Gibson because of her Endless Ocean reviews.
