Well since the big topic has been Nintendo and their lack of games, I'll just say, "Happy Frigay" with this new ip.  If you want a sequel, you guys better buy this.

It makes great use of the DS' touch functionality.  You have to rub furiously with the stylus and blow into the microphone.

Another example is the DS in Europe, which launched at March. And it did pretty wel. But you might say that it is a handheld and therefore it does not count! But maybe the NX is an handheld!

I know America, so that's where my basis for this holiday thing is. Like something ridiculous 80% of retail sales happen those last two months. You base your year around those months. Yes March is the second biggest time for game sales but it's still a huge miss. The longer the Wii u is left out there to die the worse it looks for them.

I would have to assume a large portion of people who MIGHT have bought an NX (if its actually good) this holiday, are now going to buy one of the other consoles instead, whom still have a TON of sales potential themselves. Of course Nintendo has that 10 million strong base of Nintendo fanboys that will buy the system no matter when it comes out, so its definitely going to get off to a strong start regardless. But it could have been a stronger start by hitting the holidays in USA. And can they sustain sales after the first few months, unlike the Wii U.

Like Reviewtechusa said, launching in March is just to make themselves look better at the very end of their fiscal quarter. So they can say "well we know sales were nonexistant for the last year but LOOK! We're back to being top dog now! Nothing to worry about here".

It has issues but the gameplay is fantastic. Don't forget to dive all over the place. Odds are you don't even know half the moves you can do as the game doesn't show you. Watch vids.
