Over Splatoon already?
Taking turns, I decided to beat them and move on rather than play everything at once., splatoon is after Star Wars mania (infinity and BF)
GAF and gaming forums in general are filled with utter dickhead douchebag idiots. The amount of stupid shit I see on the internet blows my mind and I cannot believe people even think this way on gaming boards.
Thank God for the good apples like the people here, because the real internet makes me want to cut myself.
This isn't about a specific event, just piled on collective reading over many years. Had to get it out there.

This Forensic Recreation of Jesus Christ Is Not the Same Guy You Remember from Church
The world is familiar with the Western depiction of Jesus Christ in art: a be-robed, pale-skinned, svelte man with fair hair and eyes.
But Richard Neave has thrown a wrench in the Eurocentric depiction of Christianity's founding son. Using forensic data from the skulls of first century Jewish men, the British anatomical artist retired from University of Manchester, reimagined Jesus' face.
Source: Facebook
Neave looked at the skulls of Semites from around Galilee in Northern Israel, recreating them with the help of a series of computerized x-rays. He augmented his research — for example, for Jesus' hair — by examining drawings depicting the average man from this region and time to fill in the remaining gaps. Gone are the Princess Buttercup locks.
While Neave's image of Jesus was first published on Popular Mechanics on Jan. 23, the internet being the intractable beast that it is only picked up on it in recent days and "Jesus Christ" was trending by Monday.
"I made a plaster cast of the skull which gives me something to work on," Neave told the BBC in 1998, describing his process after helping the police solve a murder mystery by recreating a corpse's face.
"Then I put clay over it and, using soft tissue measurements, build up the anatomy of the face," he said. "Inevitably there are some areas where you have to speculate, particularly if parts of the skull are missing."
As well as his work in forensic criminology, Neave has attempted to reconstruct the faces of numerous other historical figures in the past. These include King Midas of Phrygia, Alexander the Great's father and Philip II of Macedon, Popular Mechanics reports.
The timing of the image's surge in popularity can probably be linked to Jesus's pending birthday — or whatever day Dec. 25 marks. At least we can now more realistically imagine what he'd look like in a party hat.
The thing is you can't take most of it too seriously. Some people love being asses especially since they are anonymous.
Do any of you work with or have worked with one of those old school people that still think games are for kids & look down at you because you like gaming?
I have this guy where I work who thinks anyone over 15 who plays games is either a loser or mentally challenged. Anytime he finds out about someone playing games he talks shit about them.
Its funny because he's always talking to me about it & I guess to him I don't look like a gamer so he assumes I don't play as I've never told him. Its hilarious.
Worst things about the internet:
#1: Internet tough guys.
#2: Internet geniuses. Mr Knowitalls.
#3: Politically correct bullshit.
Pretty much why I lost interest in GameSpot or any other forum.
Tiny little things get masively amplified by the internet sound machine till the noise becomes like an echoing Banshee wail that can shatter glass and screw up your brain.
Tool.
My brother played games up till the age of 32 and now thinks they are for kids
I hardly ever talk about gaming at work because of that. Funny, there's probably more adult gamers than children.
"We got a raw deal"? No you didn't, you lucked out.
He started talking to me about it because I was pissed one day at a few co-workers who decided to play games on their phone instead of doing their jobs. There's a time to game and its not when you have work to do, and since you're not doing your work someone else is getting screwed over. So that's when I found out this guy just hates gaming PERIOD. He's one of those people that as soon as he finds out someone is a gamer, even if they're a great person and a hard worker they suddenly become worthless in his eyes.
It just blows my mind that people still have viewpoints like this in 2015. If it was the 80's or maybe even the 90's I could somewhat understand being behind the times.
Blatant Pokemon ripoff 'Pocket Master Saga' hits app store
This has to be seen to be believed:
By a developer named 'DNA' : We prefer 'homage' . Seriously, as long as stuff like this is allowed to exist by Google and Apple, mobile will never be taken serious.
What's with so many Japanese games having an X at the end of their name these days? 'Monster Hunter X', 'XCX', now 'Tales of Zesteria the X'. It's getting to a point where it's starting to enter the same level of ridiculousness as the many DS games that had a 2-word subltitle where each word would start with a D and an S.
I guess they figure it sounds better than 8 or 15 or 25.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
It does so in Monster Hunter X as well. But that doesn't change the point that a lot of games seem to be adding this suffix.
I'm all over it. I really like how these guys are bringing back classics like this one & System Shock. Kudos
The salt that Undertale is causing is hilarious although the game totally wrecked my bracket at GameFAQS.
