I don't make much out of the hype for the size of Xenoblade 2's world. Its an overrated stat in virtually every open world game. The bigger the world, the more you have to use fast travel to cut out the boring shit. The more important stat, is how do the quests hold up compared to other games.
Aft6er watching the fanmade Twilight Princess remake I'm less excited for the real thing. I shouldn't have watched that. LMAO

What made you pick xbox over ps4? P.S buy Splatoon.
In XB wii the fast travel was instantaneous. But now in xcx you also have jeeps, mechs, motorbikes and flying so it shouldn't be that bad. You can also sprint in human form.

After rewatching it I think it looks too different. Some of the interiors looked great but some of the shaders looked odd. Or at odds with the art style of the game. The Tantalus rework is definitely more subtle but also alot more respectful of the source material. Check-out the Gamexplain comparison video in Fridays updates.

I read this and it doesn't make mention of any of the new stuff at all. Seems like they just changed the score?
Also shouldn't they have waited till the two new maps come out from the n.direct? Or till the new maps in January?

My daughter is a huge Halo fan. It's odd too because she never plays the games online. She only plays the SP. I thought of getting the Halo 5 special edition for her but after some thinking I decided it was too expensive for what it was and grabbed the 1TB bundle with both Tomb Raider games, including the new one, and picked Halo 5 as well separately. Figured it was better value since I paid less than what I would have paid for the special ed Juan. She is also a bit TR fan so she will be thrilled.
Wii U was about the same. Daughter wanted the MK8 Wii U, which was more expensive. Grabbed the bundle with Splatoon and Smash U and bought MK8 separately, and still paid less than what I would have paid for the MK bunduru. She also loves Smash so it was a win win situation.
There is not much that would make me get a PS4. In the end, I wanted the stuff for my daughters, so it only made sense since those were the things they wanted. Nothing that the PS offers is of any real interest to me, the thing would go unplayed anyway. What I really need though, is an SSD, a new HDD and some RAM sticks.
