Videogamer Evolve Review 6/10
Evolve should have been great. It isn't. Worse still is that its core idea feels as if it has been undermined by over-complication and, more disappointingly, the worst practices of modern publishing.videogamer.com impressions gamingeek

I took Thursday off this past week, and spent a big chunk of the day playing Smash Bros. It's been about a month since I've sunk any real amount of time playing For Glory, and for the love of god..... the community as a whole has really gotten a lot better. I'm seeing people pulling off tricks with characters like Jigglypuff, Ness, and the Villager that I swear I hadn't seen in my initial time spent with the game. Needless to say I spent a good chunk of time getting my ass handed to me. I think I'll be spending a little time with it this week to get back on par.
Oh and speaking of Smash Bros. here's an interesting rumor regarding the the DLC characters:
I never heard of Master Fortress. What is it and how do you get to it?
Beat classic mode at 8.0 difficulty or higher, then after you beat the boss a spaceship thing comes and you go through it like a side scrolling action game.
Playing Smash Bros. Wii U Classic Mode at an intensity of 8.0 or higher, once you defeat Master and Crazy Hands and a few other forms, you have a Fortress you need to get through (twice) to destroy 4 Hearts to beat the game.
...or so I've heard, I've never even come close yet!
Hmmm... Shall I officially declare the week of February 15th the "Master Fortress Challenge Week" at the VG Press to see which one of us can beat it first and be declared Smash Champion?
Puzzle & Dragons comes with both the original game for 3DS + a Mario Bros. variant.
So... Mario RPG + Puzzle Quest + One of the most popular games in Japan in a looong time = I am frightened this is going to be stupidly addictive!
Oooooh that looks good. Wii U port please?
Monster Hunter or Puzzle & Dragon?
I was referring to Puzzle & Dragons this time. But MH4U is on the permanent "please port the game" list.

Since no one here has ever mentioned it, I have to ask: Has anyone here defeated Master Fortress yet?
BTW: I am nearly 80 hours into Persona Q and still loving it!
Its impossible. Got there once.
Nope. I haven't even been able to get to it.

Proof that Smash just keeps on giving (mainly because only 4 people on Earth can get through this damned thing).

Challenge accepted!!!!
Right until I get frustrated and want to quit.
LOL! I know I don't have a chance in hell, but was guessing a few of us would step up and jump on the challenge! I'll see how close I can get!
I wish ya'll the best of luck with that challenge, but I'll jusy be happy playing Majora's Mask and Walking Dead season2.
... And I think I'm withdrawing myself from this challenge.
I just put a Poll up at Gamespot asking the same thing... The only person to respond in the last few hours didn't know what Master Fortress was!
I find it incredible in this day and age that anything like that could be kept relatively secret in such a high profile game!
Already?! Why?!
It's THAT tough?
**I admit I haven't even tried yet!!**
