No, no. He's right about Mortal Kombat.
I'll be very curious to hear what the reaction to this game ends up being. I popped my head into a Gamestop yesterday for a few minutes and saw an employee telling a customer not to buy the game. In fairness, he mentioned that there were no reviews out at the time, but the guy was also tearing it a new asshole... based on a what I have no idea since he said there were no reviews out yet. Typical GS employee I suppose.
Oh and I still haven't bought MP Trilogy yet. I can't decide if I want to mess with it or not. God knows I don't Travo to pee on me though.
I was worried too when they did not send out Review Copies until the day before. I assumed it meant it would be crap. I played Dead Island and liked it, despite it being very buggy. Passed on Dead Island: Riptide. I saw videos of the Parkour, gore and finely polished graphics of Dying Light and was intrigued from the start.
**Gaf seems to love it too... A fact that scares me more than anything in the game, btw...**
Golden showers for everyone!
In the news today:
"A disgruntled gamer was seen climbing Sassafras Mountain in South Carolina in the early morning hours of January 30th. Upon reaching the top, he whipped out his manhood and attempted to 'Pee' all over the country, yelling something like: 'I'll get you. I'll get you ALL. I LOVE YOU SAMUS!' Said gamer was taken in for psychiatric evaluation, having accomplished nothing other than frightening local raccoons and staining his Khakis with urine. More as it develops."
Hey. Has anyone seen Travo today?
Travo who?
*zips pants*. The only mountain I could find was Little Mountain. I decided not to since Vader and GG bought it.
Is that your wife's pet name for it: Little Mountain?
It's frightening, the games announced for the 3DS/New in the last few weeks, they could literally last me 500 hours+ and the New 3DS could potentially become my primary system. Just check out what's coming and when and try to calculate the hours that could easily be spent with each game:

02/13 -- Monster Hunter 4
02/13 -- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Oof!
No.
It may have been at one time but now it's called, " Arggh, get that thing away from me!"
Though it does frustrate me that all these epic games are coming out for the 3DS while the Wii U is getting these 10 hour experiences like Captain Toad and Rainbow Curse. I want a game like those 3DS games on the home console.
Oh come on. Even if it is easy in every Zelda game I have to think about what I fight. Many enemies require specific strategies to handle, not the case in diablo. There are puzzles to solve, a giant world to explore, tons of gameplay mechanics outside of combat, actual level design. 2D Zeldas have a million times better combat cause they are not throwing hordes of insignificant enemies at you, 5 enemies on a screen is enough to be a serious danger, you have to pay attention. They are not even close to being the same game. I also described to you why PSO is so much better than Diablo 3. It has nothing to do with being an expert gamer, it is about engaging the gamer with compelling gameplay, make me pay attention. Multiple people have told me Diablo is the kind of game you play while listening to audio book or doing something else cause it requires no thought. What kind of game is that?
I am sure once I get to the adventure game loop where progress is hindered and leveling up is required to battle these impossible monsters and it becomes about survival then I will find compelling gameplay, the main campaign not so much.
Brown, Purple,Orange and Black is a good mix to you? I fear to see what the walls of your house look like.
True horror games have been on the revival this gen, and it seems a bunch of gaming journalists forgot how to play them because it seems any game that isn't focused purely on action and explosions gets a negative response. I don't know much about this game, but that's how Zombi U was looked at, as well as the horrible IGN review for Alien Isolation. This genre is getting treated the same way that JRPG's were back in the early PS360 days (Oh..these games aren't good anymore....you need to play nothing but Elder Scrolls, Fallout, & Witcher).
This is what the horror genre seems to be going through now. Especially a game that's in first person. Its like all these journalists think if its in first person it has no excuse not to play like fucking Call of Duty.
You guys just need DVader mode during your Diablo playthroughs.
Vader, what do you think of the Wii controls for MPT?
Awesome. Works great. I still cant believe the menus are gone though.
